BarkBox August 2016 Review

BarkBox August 2016 Review

BarkBox is a subscription box especially for your dog.  BarkBoxes contain all-natural treats and other the coolest pup products in each box contains things you can't find at the typical big-box pet store. BarkBox has their treat and toy scouts scouring the country every month for the best toys and treats that will help keep your pup happy and healthy.

Each monthly box contains a combination of 4-6 treats, toys, and occasional hygiene products that have been hand selected and approved by Scout, head product tester for BarkBox.  Boxes are $29.00/month, but if you subscribe for a year, you only pay $20.00.  Also, you can get a free box with any subscription when you use this link.

BarkBox

BarkBox ships in a big brown box.  My box was a bit banged up, but nothing inside was damaged.

First Look.  This box had a summer theme.

Information Card

There was a fold out information card that looked like a mini magazine. There was a little article on the back on how your dog can become a
“celebridog”.

Fish Taco

Fish Taco $10.00 This toy has a rubber head and tail.  The body is made of plush and has crinkle fabric.  Buddy loves to chew and these rubber pieces will give him something to chew on.

Hollywoof Camera

Hollywoof Camera $10.00 This big plush camera toy has three squeakers and is packed with plush.  This should hold Buddy off for a while, before he tears out the squeakers.

Buddy and Camera toy

As soon as Buddy got the toy to squeak, he went to town trying to get out the squeakers.

The Lazy Dog Baja Fish Biscuits

The Lazy Dog Baja Fish Biscuits $7.00 These treats only have 7 ingredients: oat flour, brown rice syrup, canola oil, whitefish, carrots, and kale. These are free from fillers, preservatives and additives.

Grump's Naturals Beef Beef Tendersticks

Grump's Naturals Beef: Beef Tendersticks $8.00 These are all beef treats that are free from additives, preservatives,  and artificial colors. You can break these in smaller pieces for smaller dogs too.

Butcher's Block Pet Treats Beef Knee Cap

Butcher's Block Pet Treats Beef Knee Cap $3.00 est This is hickory smoked and made from beef patella.  I am a bit grossed out by thought of Buddy chewing on a knee cap, so this will be his outside treat.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $38.00.  I thought this was a nice box and Buddy especially loved the toys.  This is a great box to get a mix of treats and toys.  If you want to subscribe, use this link for a FREE box with any subscription plan.
