BarkBox July 2016 Review

BarkBox July 2016 Review

BarkBox is a subscription box especially for your dog.  BarkBoxes contain all-natural treats and other the coolest pup products in each box — things you can't find at the typical big-box pet store. BarkBox has their treat and toy scouts scouring the country every month for the best toys and treats that will help keep your pup happy and healthy.

Each monthly box contains a combination of 4-6 treats, toys, and occasional hygiene products that have been hand selected and approved by Scout, head product tester for BarkBox.  Boxes are $29.00/month, but if you subscribe for a year, you only pay $20.00.  Also, you can get a free box with any subscription when you use this link.

BarkBox

BarkBox ships in a little brown box.  We subscribed to the Medium BarkBox for our Beagle Mix.

Champion Metal

There was a card with a punch out metal to use a photo prop for your dog.  The back has “famous” (satire) champion dogs like Michael Yelps and Hairy Lou Retton.

PetSafe Busy Buddy Bouncy Bone Treat Holding Toy with Dental Formula, Medium/Large $12.99 This toy holds a treat ring on each end.  The bone on each end is very thick and sturdy.  The ball in the center is made of thick rubber to withstand chewing.

Petsafe Size B Dog Treat Ring Refills for Busy Buddy Toys with Dental Health Formula $8.11 The treats that go on each end are chicken flavored.  Buddy tried these out and seem to like the flavor.

To put the treats on, the end screws off and the bone pulls out of the rubber ball.

Buddy enjoyed chewing on the toy and rolling it around the floor.

Sawmill Creek Smokehouse Pig Ear Chew

Sawmill Creek Smokehouse Pig Ear Chew $3.00 This is an all natural pig ear that has been slow dried and ready to chew.  I haven't given this to Buddy yet, but I think he will really enjoy it.

Dog Paddlin Dave $10.00  This is perfect for the summer Olympics.  Dave's head is made of plush, the arms and legs crinkle and the chest squeaks.  Buddy played with this a little bit this after noon and went to town after we went to bed.

USA Salmon Snacks

USA Salmon Snacks $6.00 These are chewy bones, flavored with salmon and made in America.  Buddy kept sniffing these, so I open the bag and gave him one.  It was gone right away and Buddy wanted more.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $40.10.  Buddy always enjoys his BarkBoxes.  Each box is filled with various treats and toys.  The chew toy bone/ball and the treats were his favorites.  If you read my last month's review, the flashlight and bear have been played with practically everyday.  If you want to subscribe, use this link for a FREE box with any subscription plan.
