The Austin BatBox April 2016 Review

The Austin BatBox April 2016 Review

Austin BatBox is a subscription box that sends artisan and indie products from Austin, Tx in their monthly boxes.  Their name is derived from the large colony of bats that live in Austin,  I have a good friend that lives in Austin under the Congress Ave Bridge.  I have been able to see the bats at night, and it is something to see.  There are so many bats, they even show up on radar!  Austin BatBox is $29.99 a month and you do have to pay shipping.

The Details:

Cost: $29,99/month, $86.99/3 months, $167.99/6 months

What's in the box? When you sign up for The Austin BatBox, you will receive 4-5 hand selected items from Austin, Texas every month!

When am I billed?  Every 30 days

Austin BatBox

Austin BatBox ships in a white box with their logo sticker on the side of the box.

Earth to Austin

This little pot was handmade and a succulent plant was placed inside.  You don't need much water for these, even I can keep it alive.

Essential oil wrapping

I like that many of the items were wrapped up nicely.

Maman Sucre - Hand Blended Essential Oil Roller Scent

Maman Sucre – Hand Blended Essential Oil Roller Scent $10.00 This is a blend of grapeseed oil, coconut oil, lavender essential oil, lemongrass essential oil.  This has a great smell and is very relaxing.

Zhi Tea - Temple Gunpowder No, 1 Green Tea

Zhi Tea – Temple Gunpowder No, 1 Green Tea $3.95 This tea is organic and free trade that has a nutty-oak taste.  The leaves are tightly rolled, which makes the teal look like gun powder.

Inventive Eco Organic - Elemental Mineral Mist Sample

Inventive Eco Organic – Elemental Mineral Mist Sample  $2.00 This mist is made of copper, potassium, and silver to firm skin, reduce wrinkles, and moisturize skin,  This also contains antiviral and antimicrobial minerals, which are healing minerals.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $32.00, which was just over the cost of the box.  I love the Succulent from Potigy, it's a plant I won't kill.  The lemongrass/lavender scent was tasty too.  I love discovering new products from all over the United States.  I have a close friend in Austin, so I always share this box with her.  If you want to try Austin BatBox, you can check them out here and use the coupon BOXMOM15 to save 15% on your subscription.
