BarkBox May 2016 Review

BarkBox May 2016 Review

BarkBox is a subscription box especially for your dog.  BarkBoxes contain all-natural treats and other the coolest pup products in each box — things you can't find at the typical big-box pet store. BarkBox has their treat and toy scouts scouring the country every month for the best toys and treats that will help keep your pup happy and healthy.

Each monthly box contains a combination of 4-6 treats, toys, and occasional hygiene products that have been hand selected and approved by Scout, head product tester for BarkBox.  Boxes are $29.00/month, but if you subscribe for a year, you only pay $20.00.  Also, you can get a free box with any subscription when you use this link.

BarkBox

BarkBox ships in a little brown box.  We subscribed to the Medium BarkBox for our Beagle Mix.

The theme for this month is “Country Fair”.

The Pupticipant Ribbon

The Pupticipant Ribbon $8.00 This ribbon is a chew toy and a photo opt in one.  There is a velcro attachment on the top, so you can attach it to the collar for photos.  There is a squeaker in the round part of the ribbon and it's made of tough durable material.

I went for the photo opt and this dog just wants to chill.  The ribbon is actually attached to the collar in this photo.

Happy Howie Beef Woof Stix

Happy Howie Beef Woof Stix $3.48 These treats are made with real beef and can be used as a snack or a training tool.  My dog Buddy loves beef sticks like these, so this will be gone soon.

bff Bones Dog Treats Chicken & Biscuits Medley These are all natural freeze dried chicken and baked biscuits that are wheat, corn and soy free.

Healthy Dogma Berry & Bacon Biscuits These treats comes in the cutest little container.  These berry and bacon biscuits were a hit with Buddy.

The Pick Up Artist $14.00 This toy is made by BarkBox.  It sturdy on the inside and fuzzy on the outside.  There is also a squeaker inside the front wheels. Buddy has chewed on a few of my kids' toys, so maybe this will help prevent that.

Final Thought: I didn't get a full retail value of the box, but Buddy enjoyed everything in the box. I liked that this box had more treats than toys, Buddy really enjoyed getting his BarkBox every month.   If you want to subscribe, use this link for a FREE box with any subscription plan.

  1. Meadow and Her Kitties, May 19, 2016:

I really like the truck toy! Our girl Meadow gets the big dog box and got an entirely different group of toys and treats.
