April Box Introduction

There was a little introduction to this month's box.

Information Card

The information card had a list of everything in the box, along with a description.

018

Power Pen + AAA Batteries $13.00 This pen interacts with specific books to encourage students to find the right answer.  If the student picks the right answer with the pen, the pen cheers.  If the student gets the wrong answer, the student is encouraged to try again.

Power Pen Numbers

Power Pen Numbers Book $9.99 This book has 80 different math activities.  The book breaks down activities by categories or type of activity.  This can be used in the classroom or at home.  I really wanted to test out the pen, so I am keeping the set at home.  This would be a good set to have in the car, because the pen will tell your child if they have the right answer.

020

Here is a look in the book.  The questions start on the easy side and get progressively harder, so your child will be challenged.

sequencing questions

There were sequencing questions.

questions continued

There were also questions for greater than, less than and equal to.  My son is working on this right now, so we are going to have some practice material at home.

Safari Animals + Helping Hands Stickers

Safari Animals + Helping Hands Stickers $6.00 for both  Stickers are always on school supply lists, so these were great inclusions in the box.  It's horrible that teachers end up paying for supplies for their classroom!

Rose Water Spray by Lotus Naturals

Teacher Gift: Rose Water Spray by Lotus Naturals $10.00  This box isn't about all work and no play.  The teacher gift this month can be used on yourself to cleanse, soften and cool skin, or can be sprayed in the room for all those wonderful smells children bring.  It's all natural and made with rose petals, essential oils, witch hazel and water.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $38.90. This was a nice box and I loved the book and pen.  This makes a great gift for teachers, or a nice box for those who homeschool.  The value was more than the cost of the box, which is always a plus!  Use this link to subscribe with the code SPRING16, and get each month $27.00 for the length of your subscription.
