Guest Review Alert- Gigi!  I'm back again for a guest review of RawSpiceBar.  I like to cook homemade, healthy dinners a few times a week and I was excited to see this month's selection! February's feature is the Sichuan Spice Box.

RawSpiceBar is a spice subscription box, that is only $6.00/month.  Every month you get 3-4 premium spices and coordinating recipes every month.  Each month features a different region.   Each spice, contains 2-3 ounces and there is enough to make 3 separate dishes serving 8-12 people.

This month, RawSpiceBar traveled to Southwestern China for the February Sichuan Spice Box.

Char Siu (Chinese Barbeque Pork): This recipe uses the included Chinese Five Spice to make a simple marinade for barbeque pork.  A recipe card with complete instructions is included.  The marinade calls for mixing the spices with sugar, honey, hoisin sauce, soy sauce and oil.

Garlic Shiitake & Broccoli Noodles:  This recipe uses both the five spice powder and shiitake powder for a nice noodle recipe.  A recipe card with complete instructions is included.

Sichuan Style Green Beans: This recipe calls for the Shiitake Powder to make a great green bean dish.  A full recipe card is also included.
