First Look.  No one likes broken Baklavva, so they make sure they package it well.

There is a card included in every box with the nutritional information for the various kinds of baklavva.

information card

The information card lists the baklavva in the box.

Mini Roes (Cashew)

Mini Roes (Cashew) I think these are one of my favorite kinds of baklavva.  They have many flaky layers mixed with a cashew filling.

Baklavva (Walnut)

Baklavva (Walnut): This is the classic baklavva, with sweet layers and a walnut filling

Mamoul (Pistachio)  I have had this before, but it had a date filling, instead of this pistachio.  I love pistachio, but this had an almost perfume scent.  This wasn't my favorite, but it was fun trying it.

Bassama (cashew)

Bassama (cashew)  This was fantastic.  This was sweet and the filling tasted like shortbread, which is one of my favorite cookies.  I would love to get this same baklavva in a future box.

Final Thought: This was a great box and the Bassama was a great surprise and so tasty.  Baklavva Box is a great little sweet treat every month.  For best taste results, put your baklavva in the refrigerator until you  are ready to eat it.  Let it sit out for 30 minutes, and then enjoy.   For a limited time, you can get half off your 1st box with this link and the code MY50.
