First Look

011

The month, the snacks are Valentine's Day themed!

information card

The information card has a list of everything in the box.  According to Rising Sun, “This month our chefs focused on hand-crafting sweet delectables using clean ingredients that will be sure to please your sweetheart (or your sweet tooth)!”

Strawberry Cocoa Granola

Strawberry Cocoa Granola: This granola is a mix of chocolate, dried strawberries, almonds, coconut, spices and honey.

016

The back of each bag has your normal ingredient/nutrition information.  What I really love, is the top of the package features a fun poem about the snack.

The poem for the granola:

Chocolate and berries, decadent delight.

Almonds and honey, sweetened just right.

Coconut and spices, pleasant additions

A new treat for a Valentine's tradition.

019

The Taste:  While I am not a granola fan, this is good stuff!  The chunks of chocolate, dried berries and almond mix with the oats for a delicious snack.  This is so sweet, it's like a dessert.

Cacoa Goji Energy Bites

Cacoa Goji Energy Bites: This is organic, vegan, raw, salt-free, soy-free and it doesn't take like cardboard!

The Taste:  One of the biggest problems I have with energy bar, is so many taste like cardboard, YUCK.  These are soft chewy bites of fruit and chocolate.  These are packed with flavor and very filling. SO GOOD!

Dark Chocolate Tropical Fruits:

Dark Chocolate Tropical Fruits: These are chunks of dried pineapple and papaya, all drizzled in dark chocolate.

Delicious papaya, soft and sweet.

Paired with pineapple, sweet and tart.

Dark chocolate, such a treat.

Happy Belly, Happy Heart!

022

The Taste: They could have included just the dried pineapple and papaya, but they drizzled it with dark chocolate too.  The fruit is very fresh and easy to chew.  The dark chocolate adds just right amount of sweet and tart flavors.

Cinnasweet Pretzels

Cinnasweet Pretzels: These are cinnamon and sugar covered pretzels.  It takes two processes to create these pretzels.  The pretzels are made with organic ingredients, covered in organic coconut oil, then covered in cinnamon and sugar.

Sugar is sweet, spice is nice

a deliciously wonderful surprise

Crunchy pretzels, take a bite

My favorite Valentine delight.

021

The Taste: I can summarize this snack in one word, ADDICTING.  The mix of salt and cinnamon come together in an amazing snack.  The pretzels are so fresh and the taste is just fantastic.  I need about 8 bags of this.  Have I mentioned they have an online store?  They do!

Cupid's Arrow Trail Mix

Cupid's Arrow Trail Mix: This is a mix of cranberries, yogurt covered raisins, chocolate espresso beans and nuts.

Cranberries are Red

Yogurt Raisins are White

Chocolate Espresso Beans & You

It's Love at First Sight

024

The Taste: There are many different flavors going on in this snack.  The nuts and berries have a tradition trail mix taste, but the added chocolate espresso beans give it a deeper taste profile.
