GlobeIn February 2016 Benefit Basket Review + Coupon
Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. I received this box for review.
The GlobeIn Benefit Basket is an artisan subscription box and a great box for people who love the regular GlobeIn box, but want a bit less. The Benefit Basket contains one crafted good from a remarkable, remote artisan, all in a colorful, handwoven basket from their weaving collective in Oaxaca, Mexico. You will also get story of the artisan, their community, and how you are making an impact on their lives. The Benefit Basket is $19.95/month or $56.95 for 3 months, but you can get $7.00 off your 1 box of a 3 month subscription with the code TRYBENEFIT.
Everything shipped in a small square box.
Every box comes with an information card that gives details about the product and the artisan who makes it.
Hand-Painted Bowl by Le Souk Ceramique, Tunisia $14.00 This beautiful bowl has a Qamara design and is made by Le Souk, a company also featured in the Full GlobeIn subscription box this month.
From GlobeIn “Your bowl’s skillfully painted lines evoke the air of peace, prosperity and teamwork embodied by modern Tunisians even in the midst of hard economic times.”
I love the beautiful blue pattern of lines and dots.
To give you an idea of size, this is a look at the information card in the bowl. The bowl is big enough for whole fruit, chili, soup, cereal or snacks.
Handwoven Basket from Dona Selerina Garcia (Mexico) $12.00 These are my go-to pick for storage. They work great to hold napkins in the kitchen, toilet paper in the bathroom or small toys.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $26.00. I loved the bowl this month and getting items I can use every day, is one of my favorite things about subscription boxes. Want to subscribe? Get $7.00 off your 1 box of a 3 month subscription with the code TRYBENEFIT.
