BuddhiBox January 2016 Review

BuddhiBox January 2016 Review

BuddhiBox changed their boxes for their January 2016 box!  I love the new change.  BuddhiBox is a green/eco-friendly subscription especially for people who love yoga.  Boxes are $30.95/ month and are filled with 4-6 deluxe and full size yoga and healthy lifestyle products. I actually don't normally do yoga, but I really enjoy BuddhiBox and I have used every box they have sent. Most of the items you will find in the box are organic and vegan.  BuddhiBox also gives back to a charity each month.

The Details:

Cost: $30.95/month, $27.95/month for 6 months, $25.95/month for 12 months.

Coupon: Use the code buddhifriend to save $3.00 off your month to month subscription plan.

What's in the box? BuddiBox ships you a curated box of 4-6 products that enhance your yoga practice and lifestyle. BuddhiBox practices Saucha or pure living.
We only partner with businesses that follow ethical and conscious standards of production. Most of the items we feature are organic and vegetarian.

When does the box ship?  10th of the month.

Buddhibox changed their boxes this month and I love it.  There is a pretty flower on top with the om symbol in the middle.  The sides of the boxes have the BuddhiBox logo.  I believe the “flower” is actually the Anahata chakra, but I am not for sure.

First Look.

The featured quote this month was “Who knows, maybe the best hasn't happened yet.” – Tristan Prettyman.

033

The information card has a list of everything in the box and there are symbols to indicated if the product was Vegan, Organic or Cruelty Free.

This month, the featured recipe was Roasted Tomato Soup.

Tadasana Mountain Pose

The featured yoga pose this month is Tadasana Mountain Pose.

yoga pose instructions.

The back of the information card has information about the post, how to do it and the benefits.

Ganesh Journal

Ganesh Journal $18.95 This is journal is made of leatherette, so it's also Vegan.  There are 192 pages in the journal, and they are acid free. There is a ribbon inside to mark your page, and an elastic band to keep the journal closed.  The figure on the front is Ganesh, remover of obstacles, and deity of beginnings.

Each right side page has this figure of Ganash.

Levals Anahata Bracelet

Levals Anahata Bracelet $21.00  Green Aventurine is the green stone and it inspires creativity and adventure.  The rough orange/red stones are Rudraksha, which attract harmony, healthy and prosperity.  Lepidolite is the purple stones, which improves self-love, optimism and patience.  The information card indicated there was a tree of life charm, but my bracelet didn't have that.

Hemp Nation Kiwi Mango Body Was

Hemp Nation Kiwi Mango Body Wash $5.50  This is a great blend of mango and kiwi scents.  It's made with hemp seed oil but is THC drug free.  Not only doesn't it smell great, but it's filled with antioxidants, pomegranate extract, and is paraben free.

co pur Body Balm in Lavender Lime $15.00  This is made to use on the rough spots of your skin and protect it from the weather.  I love running outside, but since it's in the teens outside, that's not going to happen. This has shea butter among other nourishing ingredients, so it's really going to lock in moisture.
North Detail Everyday Tote

North Detail Everyday Tote $15.00 I love the message on this tote and it reminds me of summer!  I think I may use this to carry my water and yoga mat to and from class.

The tote reads

Sunglasses [check]

Playlist [check]

Makeup Bag [mm-hmm]

Hustle [oh yeah]

Today will be the best day [YES]

Herbal Zap Sample

Herbal Zap Sample You mix this into 6 oz of water to help with digestion and remove toxins from your body.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $75.45.  I love the new box design and really everything in this month's box.  The bracelet is very pretty and I love learning the meaning behind each bead.  I am going to use the journal for a food journal, in hopes I will continue my healthy eating. If you want to try BuddhiBox, click HERE and use the code buddhifriend to save $3.00 off your month to month subscription plan.
