036

Baklavva shipped in a black box with a logo sticker on top.

037

There was some bubble wrap on top to prevent anything from being broken.

038

All the baklavva was in a tray sealed with plastic.

039

Every box contains a nutritional guide for all the snacks that baklavva sends.

041

There is always an information card with pictures of all the items in the box.

Balouri (Pistachio)

Balouri (Pistachio) I thought this was topped with coconut but I am pretty sure it's shredded fillo dough.  The pistachios are mixed with rose water for a great taste.

Mini Roes (Cashew)

Mini Roes (Cashew) These have been in previous boxes and they have a great classic taste.  There is more flaky layers mixed with a cashew filling.

Ossmalleya (Walnut)

Ossmalleya (Walnut) This was the most unusual in the box.  The top tastes like shredded wheat and the filling has a citrus taste, lemon or orange.  I really wasn't crazy about this one, but my husband enjoyed it.Mamoul (Dates)

Mamoul (Dates)  This reminded me a pastry and a fig newton, only with dates not figs.  I like the texture of this pastry better than the shredded filo dough and the date filling was really sweet.

Final Thought: This box was really different than past boxes.  The flavors were really different and I liked trying something new.  My favorite in the box were still the mini roses, I can't resist that classic taste.  For best taste results, put your baklavva in the refrigerator until you  are ready to eat it.  Let it sit out for 30 minutes, and then enjoy.   For a limited time, you can get half off your 1st box with this link and the code MY50.
