016

Baklavva shipped in a black box with a logo sticker on top.

There was an information card with a picture and name for everything in the box.  There was also a card with all the nutritional facts for the items in the box.

All the baklavva was in a tray sealed with plastic.

Ghouribeh

Ghouribeh These tasted like those cake like cookies you can get in the grocery store.  They were very moist and you really need a tall glass of milk when you eat these.

Basma (Pistachio)

Basma (Pistachio)  The top had a sweet honey taste with bits of pistachios thrown in.  I love pistachios, so this was one of my favorite desserts in the box.

Baklavva (Walnut)

Baklavva (Walnut): This is just like the baklavva in last month's box.  It had flaky layers and the dough was soft and super sweet.

Burma (Cashew)

Burma (Cashew) This has the texture of shredded wheat but sweet like the traditional baklavva.  I liked the nuttiness of the cashews better than the walnuts in the traditional baklavva.

Final Thought: This was a great box.  The Ghouribeh were my favorite items in the box, they were so different from everything else in the box.  My husband and I personally enjoyed everything in the box.  For best taste results, put your baklavva in the refrigerator until you  are ready to eat it.  Let it sit out for 30 minutes, and then enjoy.   For a limited time, you can get half off your 1st box with this link and the code MY50.
