001

Baklavva shipped in a black box with a logo sticker on top.

002

First Look.  There was a layer of bubble wrap on top to prevent damage to the food.

003

The baklavva was in a tray together and sealed.  I was happy everything was in one piece, nothing was broken.

015

There was a nutritional card in the box with gave information for all the types of baklavva you could receive, not just what was in the box.

014

There was an information card with pictures and labels of everything in the box.

Mini Roses

Mini Roses: This was really fresh and yummy.  It was made of flaky buttery layers and the whole thing was sweet and drizzled with honey.  There was a slight nuttiness that just added to the flavor.

Baklavva

Baklavva:  While similar in taste to the mini roses, this had a more pronounced nutty flavor (walnuts?), but still super sticky and sweet.

Fingers

Fingers: The dough and contents are all inter-wrapped together, so all the flavors are more combined in this treat.  I think this one was more dry than the others, but that is more to describe the flavor, rather than the freshness.

Bird Nest

Bird Nest:  This had thicker flaky layers and it was topped with cashews, which really made this baklavva taste outstanding.  Super fresh with honey coated flakes of dough and a yummy nuttiness.

Final Thought: What a fantastic yummy box.  All the baklavva was outstanding and fresh.  One tip, put this in your refrigerator when you receive it and then sit it out 30 minutes before eating.  We loved that ours still had a slight chill to it.  If you like baklavva, this is an excellent box to check out.  This would make a great treat to take to upcoming holiday parties as well!  For a limited time, you can get half off your 1st box with this link and the code MY50.
