Teabox actually shipped in a brown box, but there was nothing on it, so I just included this box photo.

First Look.  There was a sheet of tea tips on the right and welcome letter on the left side of the box.

Note: for the individual teas, my husband wrote his taste notes.

Langharjan Classic Summer Assam This black tea is sweet with a slight after taste. I think the higher caffeine content might be affecting the taste. It was very pleasant with the milk and sugar added.

Jungpana special spring Darjeeling chinary Black

Jungpana special spring Darjeeling Chinary Black  A full body tea that is different from what I have had before. The tea is a very smaller cut that allowed measuring partial amounts. It is has a sweet aroma, but with a spicy hint. The tea tastes good without anything added.

Darjeeling Ruby Black tea

Darjeeling Ruby Black tea A nice sweet tasting tea that has a mixture taste of honey and hint of rose. The aroma complements it with grape and blueberry. The tea is a shortly cut so measuring out 2 teaspoons was easy. The after taste was really good and made better with the added sugar.

TeaspoonTeaspoon:  A heavy metal teaspoon was included to help measure the tea.  This is a special bonus in the box worth $4.50.

Muslin Tea Bags:  Several muslin tea bags were included to help get that perfect cup of tea.  You can use and wash these a few times before throwing them away.

Final Thought: The Darjeeling Ruby – black tea was my favorite out of all the tea. I think it is exactly what I look for in a tea as far as taste. The variety is very nice without getting too outside my comfort zone with tea. I did like the change-up with the spice of the Jungpana special spring.  If you love discovering new tea, try Teabox.  Right now, you can try Teabox for 50% off.  This means you can get this box for $5.00!  Use this link with the code SBM50 to save 50% off your 1st box.
