First Look

The theme was “back to school, so this month, the projects are to make bookmarks, wrapped pencils and decorate canvas pouches.

018

Pencils & Bookmarks:  Four paperclips (for bookmarks) and four pencils were included in the box.  Four rolls of colored duct tape were included to decorate the pencils and make the bookmarks.  There were even two pencil sharpeners.

Canvas Pouch Each child received a canvas pencil pouch and there were five markers to share.

Erasers

Erasers:  To complete the back to school goodies, two erasers wrapped like candy were included.  These are so adorable.

We didn't have an official play date, instead the boys colored together.  T loves to color, so he ended up coloring for a good long time.  T worked on preschool skills like color recognition, and putting caps on markers.

034

L doesn't normally love to color, but he enjoyed this craft and took his time to draw his whole family.

Dynamos Triple Berry Protein Bites

Dynamos Triple Berry Protein Bites: These bars are packed with protein and have a great berry taste.  T really loved these, in his words “YUMMY”.

006

Vamousse Lice Protection $4.25  Now that my oldest is in Kindergarten, I worry about the first lice outbreak.  When the first lice outbreak happens, use this shampoo to ward off lice.  This is also great for any multi-child sleep overs.

Dogeared Pretty Little Things Bag

Dogeared Pretty Little Things Bag $24.00  This bag is the mom/host gift and it is almost worth the cost of the box!  This tote is a nice size and great for your large purse or travel.

005

There was a plain brown bag you can decorate and use to gift the host gift.

Mable's Labels

Mable's Labels $12.99:  Two sets of Mable's Labels were included: one in pink and one in blue.  These can be microwaved, immersed in water or run through the dishwasher.

014

There were also coupons to save on items purchased from Dogeared and the lice prevention.

These are the finished bags and pencils.  L drew his family, while T was going for a more colorful look. L wrapped his own pencil while my husband did the others.

Final Thought: This was a really fun box and my kids were able to play together with no fighting.  This would be a fun box for a traditional playdate, or a box for siblings to share.  I really enjoyed the mom gift and I like the lice protector. The Mable's Labels are perfect for back to school.  Just those three products were worth more the cost of the box.  This box had a great value and the mom gift was cute!  Save 50% off your 1st box with this link and the code SAVE50.
