Citrus Lane August 2015 Review - 3 Year Old Boy

Citrus Lane August 2015 Review – 3 Year Old Boy

Citrus Lane is a subscription for 0-5 year olds and each month.  For $29.95/month, they send boxes filled with cool toys, books, snacks, personal care items and more.  Both of my boys have subscriptions to Citrus Lane: ages: 6 and 3.   This is the box for my 3 year old son, dob March 2012.

I was hoping my boys' boxes would be different this month, and they were!

The information card contains a list of everything in the box, along with coupon codes for featured products.

Janod Sardine in Tin Fishing Game

Janod Sardine in Tin Fishing Game $13.90 UPDATE:  Citrus Lane had advised not to use this toy.  Check out my post here.  This fishing game is super cute!  The fishing poles screw together and apart, so they all fit in the fish between play.  The game comes with 10 cute little fish with magnets.  The little worm on the black fishing pole came apart when I took it out of the box.  I am not sure if I can glue it back, so I am going to reach out to Citrus Lane about it.

Petit Collage Dinosaur Kingdom

Petit Collage Dinosaur Kingdom $18.00  I couldn't find this exact puzzle on the petit collage site, so I use the 24 piece puzzle price.  My 3 year old loves puzzles, so I am saving this for him for Christmas.

Bumpkins Snack Bag

Bumpkins Snack Bag $4.95  This was the customized option for August.  My kids like superheros and we use snack bags all the time.

Babyganics Pure Mineral Sunscreen .56  This is a little sample size sunscreen with an SPF of 30.  This is water resistant and tear free.  I am not really excited about this, I wish he would have received the juice my older son received.

Gathered Table Coupon:  Each box received an offer to try Gathered Table 40% off.  Gathered Table is a recipe subscription box that sends you pre-planed menus every week.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $37.42.  I really loved the fishing game, broken piece aside.  The puzzle is cute and will also be a great Christmas present.  We will use the snack bag, but I wasn't impressed with the sunscreen.  If you want to try Citrus Lane, check out these great offers below.

  1. Brittani, August 22, 2015:

The worm came apart while my son was playing with it and the magnet fell rite out. Luckily I noticed rite away but my son could have easily thought it was candy and swallowed it. I immediately tried to call citrus lane but they were closed for some company holiday (yesterday) so I emailed them. I just hope they here word out to parents.

They just sent out an email not to use the toy. I am posting about it now.
