BOXYCHARM August 2015 Review
BOXYCHARM is a beauty subscription box that sends a box of beauty item worth $50.00, for only $21.00 a month. BOXYCHARM has become one of my favorite beauty/makeup subscription boxes. It's one of the boxes I usually use everything in the box.
I was surprised to see BOXYCHARM in my mailbox so early.
First Look
The theme for this month is “Gorgeous Globetrotter”. BOXYCHARM is giving away a $250.00 prize package, just share your box on social media and tag three friends for a chance to win. There was also an information card about a hair product in the box.
The back of the information card has a list of everything in the box, a description and the retail value.
Coastal Scents Revealed 3 $19.95 This was one of the spoilers and the item I was looking forward to the most. I have the Coastal Scents Revealed 1 and 2, and I use them regularly. The Revealed 3 palette has more pinks, purples and greys, which are colors I wear the most.
Here are three swatches from the palette. The colors are build-able, so you can have soft look, or a more dramatic look.
Nios Shield Leave In Conditioner $26.00 This leave in conditioner not only contains vitamin E and B5 for soft hair, but it has and SPF 15 to protect your skin and scalp from the sun.
So Susan Statement Skin $20.00 This highlighting crayon can be used on various areas of the face to add a nice glow. The product was disconnected from the applicator when it arrived, but I was able to fix it.
This is a swatch, and I like that is a nice highlighter without looking yellow.
SETA Eyeliner Brush $16.00 + MicaBeauty Gel Eyeliner $35.00: The eyeliner brush has a firm pointy brush to apply the gel eyeliner easier. I like gel eyeliner, but I prefer my gel pencil liners, so I might end up trading or gifting this.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $116.95. I really loved the Revealed 3 palette, and it's something I would have bought it, even if it was not in my BOXYCHARM. The So Susan and Hair Conditioner were also some of my favorite items in the box. I really love BOXYCHARM, for the value and the quality of the products. If you want to try BOXYCHARM, use this link.
