First Look

You: A Novel by Kepnes, Caroline (2014) Hardcover

You: A Novel by Kepnes, Caroline (2014) Hardcover $13.00 This book has been compared to Gone Girl and American Psycho.  It about a guy named Joe who sets out to be with a girl Beck and he uses his charm and manipulation to win her heart.  This is a story of stalking and manipulation.  I started reading this book immediately, and it's really interesting.

Tokyo Kill: A Thriller (A Jim Brodie Novel)

Tokyo Kill: A Thriller (A Jim Brodie Novel) $14.87 The story begins with a WWII vet who comes to Brodie Security for protection.  Dismissed as crazy, Broadie goes to Tokyo on a personal trip, only to find out the stories of Chinese spies, kendo warriors, and more, were true.  While I wouldn't have normally selected this book to read, this does sound interesting.

Journal: As a bonus, BookCase Club included a journal.  I am not good with keeping a consistent journal, but I will jot some ideas in it.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $27.87, not counting the journal.  I thought this was a nice subscription and I will read both books.  At $14.95, including shipping, this is one of the most affordable book subscription.  If you want to try BookCase Club, use this link with the code bookwarehouse to save 10%.

I think the link is invalid, I tried several times it keeps coming up as a disabled website?

  2. Subscription Box Mom, August 17, 2015:

I updated the link. They were having issues with their website, the link should work now.
