Orange Glad July 2015 Review

Orange Glad July 2015 Review

Orange Glad is a desert/sweet subscription box.  Month to month subscriptions are $15.00 and each box is filled with yummy deserts and treats.  I recently signed up for a subscription, because I have loved the look at some of the past boxes. If you don't want to share your goodies, you can double the treats for only $12.00 more!  The tasty treats in the box are not found at your everyday grocer.  Everything in the box is carefully chosen by the Orange Glad team.  If you want to try Orange Glad, use this link with the code FBJUNE to get 50% off your 1st box . You will pay only $9.50 on your first box (including shipping).

The information book lets you know about all the companies in the box.  They also tell you how long the treats are good for, no one likes sale treats.

Greyston Bakery Brown Sugar Blondie

Greyston Bakery Brown Sugar Blondie:  I can't say I have had a blondie before, so I really didn't know what to expect.  This was a sweet cake-like brown with chunks of chocolate.  I really enjoyed the chocolate chunks, but I would have preferred a brownie.

McTavish Shortbread Ice Cream Shortbread

McTavish Shortbread Ice Cream Shortbread:  While my dad didn't really cook much growing up, the made the most amazing shortbread goodies.  This was almost as good as his, I think this had a bit more salt.  The sprinkles an extra sweet flavor to the cookie.

A Couple of Squares Raspberry Jam Shortbread

A Couple of Squares Raspberry Jam Shortbread:  I love shortbread, so I was happy to get two shortbread items.  I love the raspberry jam, but I wish it was sandwiched through the whole cookie.  I split this with my husband, and we had to make sure we each got 1/2 of the jam.

The Art of Caramel Bananas Foster with Dark Rum Carameled Popcorn

The Art of Caramel Bananas Foster with Dark Rum Carameled Popcorn I love trying new popcorn, regardless of the flavor.  I am not a fan of bananas foster, but in popcorn form, it tasted much better.  This really reminded me of banana bread popcorn.

Darling Gourmet Goodies Vagabond Biscott

Darling Gourmet Goodies Vagabond Biscotti: My husband and I are not fans of biscotti in general, but this was one of the better ones I have had.  While still crunchy, this was easier to chew than most biscotti.   The chunks of which chocolate made this treat even better.

Final Thought: I thought this was a well curated box of sweets.  The shortbread cookies were my favorite sweets in the box, while my husband loved the popcorn.  I didn't love this box as much as last month's box, but it's pretty impossible to top a Crispycake.  If you want to try Orange Glad, use this link with the code FBJUNE to get your first box for $9.50.

The Ice Cream Shortbread cookie looks so good! I’ve never had homemade shortbread, maybe I’ll try baking some up…
