The Details:

  • If you subscribe on an “every other month” basis, you will be billed the day you sign up, and then again on the same day two months later.  For example, if you sign up today, you will be billed today (March 30th) and then again (May 30th)
  • Annual subscribers will be billed today and then again the same day, one year from now.

007

Luxor Box ships in a big white box.  They don't put much branding on the box, because they don't want it “walking off” your porch.

First Look

011

The box itself is blue and white and the box is pretty sturdy.   You can cover the box with paper and use it for storage.

010

I really couldn't wait to see what was in this month's box.  I didn't see any spoilers, so everything was a surprise.

018

Every item was individually wrapped and packaged in the box.

019

Second Look

052

Luxor Box send their information cards in a set of 6 two-sided information cards.  Each card gave details about each item in the box.

Pura Bontacica Essentials Pouch

Pura Bontacica Essentials Pouch $18.00  This vegan friendly pouch is made of faux ostrich material.  The bag is pretty roomy (5 1/2 by 7 1/2), and I think it's going to work great in my purse.  I love the little fleur de lis zipper pull.

HABIT Cosmetics Natural Nail Polish

HABIT Cosmetics Natural Nail Polish $36.00/set: HABIT nail polish is vegan, cruelty free, gluten free and five free.  The caps are made of bamboo, in an effort to use less plastic.  Subscribers received two nail polishes, I received Prairie “sage green creme” and Voodoo “deep, brownish red with bamboo shimmer”.  I love Prairie, but I will end up swapping or gifting Voodoo.
Jules Smith Distressed Infinity Scarf

Jules Smith Distressed Infinity Scarf $45.00 This distressed scarf is light weight, perfect for summer.  Subscribers received either grey or white, and I am happy I received grey.  I wear alot of black, so this grey color works well with my wardrobe.

Co Pur

Co Pur All in One Makeup Remover & Moisturizer $20.00  This makeup remover is highly concentrated, so you only need a few drops to remove that stubborn makeup.  You can also use this as a moisturizer.

Co Pur Facial Scrub + Mask $24.00: Just add water to this powder mask to get soft radiant skin.  Made with French green clay, grapefruit and chamomile, this mask rids your skin of impurities.

Mary Jurek Kenya Indian Rosewood Round Box

Mary Jurek Kenya Indian Rosewood Round Box $50.00  This hand carved box is really beautiful and fits right in with my decor.  The lid is made of 18/8 stainless steel and features a crocodile pattern.  I really love this piece and am going to check out the website for more pieces to match this with.

Robyn Rhodes Jerry Necklace

Robyn Rhodes Jerry Necklace $89.00 This necklace is 25″ long and features gold adornments with a rhodium chain.  Luxor Box included five different ways to wear this necklace, included wearing it as a hair accessory and a bracelet.  I love the mixed metal look.

039

This is a better look at the necklace.  While I wouldn't pay $89.00 for it, I really love it.

020

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $282.00.  I really enjoyed this box even more than the premier box.  The rosewood box is my favorite item and it's already sitting on my shelf.  The scarf is really beautiful, and I can't wait to wear it out.  Luxor Box really impressed me this month and I look forward to seeing their September box.  If you want to sign up for Luxor Box, I believe there is a waiting list, but you can get on the list at this link.

I received 13 kitten and 9 creature of the night. I really want voodoo if you are interested in a swap.

    Thanks Monica

  2. PA Anna, July 16, 2015:

I read this late at night the other night and never commented. I liked that you included many pictures in the post. The rosewood round box is beautiful. Now I am starting to regret not trying out the Luxor box.

  3. Ashley, July 24, 2015:

Monica, I have Voodoo that I would swap, although I ripped the box and threw it away, but it has not been used or sampled.
