Marvel Collector Corps June 2015 Review

Marvel Collector Corps is a subscription box by Marvel and Funko.
Boxes ship bi-monthly and are $25.00, plus $6.95 shipping.  My husband signed up for the Founders program, which means he has a year subscription.  Each box promises at least a $50.00 value and will contain exclusive apparel, accessories, and collectibles.

The Details:

Cost: $25.00 every other month

Shipping: Ships to US and Worldwide.  US shipping is $6.95.  International shipping rates vary.

What's in the box? Each box promises at least a $50.00 value and will contain exclusive apparel, accessories, and collectibles.

006

This month, the featured character was Ant-Man!

007

First Look: The inside of the box has a comic of Ant-Man.

035

There was an exclusive patch and pin of Ant-Man.

069

The shirt has the Ant-Man logo with an Ant-Man character on the front, that is “actual size”.  The shirt is pretty soft and nice quality.

031

Ant-Man Variant Edition 005 $3.99 It's fitting Marvel would include an Ant-Man comic.  This is an exclusive cover for issue #5.

030

Funko Ant-Man: This is an exclusive figure for Funko and it includes the “World's Smallest Bobblehead”.  My husband wants to keep everything in the box, so this is the best closeup I could get.  The back of the box isn't quit as mint as I would like, but it's not a deal breaker.

037

Marvel Ant-Man Bobble-Head Mystery Mini: Two mystery minis were included in the box.  We received unmasked Scott Lang and YellowJacket.  While the minis are a nice addition, we did have a problem with one of them (see below).

041

Either YellowJacket decided to take revenge during transit, or there was just an accident, Scott Lange's head is detached.  I am going to reach out to Marvel, and I am sure they will make it right.

Final Thought: My husband really enjoyed his box.  The FUNKO figure was probably our favorite items in the box.  I do think Marvel should work on the packaging of the boxes and perhaps add some bubble wrap or squiggles.  Overall, it was a nice box and my husband looks forward to the August box.   If you want to sign up for Marvel Collector Corps, use this link.
