First Look

001

SnackSender included a postcard from Colorado, the location of SnackSack.

002

On the back of the May postcard, there was a list of all the snacks in the box.

054

Most of the snacks came in this all natural burlap sack.

066

Frontier Bites Almond Blueberry Lemon Bites: These are little crunch bites of almonds, blueberries and tart lemons, all packed in little organic, gluten free bites.  These taste a bit like a fancy rice krispy treat.  The whole package has only 100 calories, so you can snack happy.

064

YumEarth Organics Gummy Bears: I have a serious love of gummy bears and really all things gummy.  These gummy bears taste like regular gummy bears, but they are made without anything artificial.

090

Torie and Howard Fresh Fruit Hard Candies: I have had these Torie and Howard candies before and the blood orange candy is my favorite.  These are made with al natural ingredients and don't have any artificial flavors or colors.

063

Barefoot of Chocolate Speads:  SnackSack sent two hazelnut chocolate spreads and one almond coconut chocolate spread.  It's no secret that I don't eat coconut, so that spread will go to my dad.  The hazelnut chocolate spread is great on toast or cookies.

062

Luke's Orgnanic White Cheddar Cheese Puffs: These gluten-free, non gmo cheddar puffs taste similar to the haul-less popcorn you find at the grocery store.  My children and I all really enjoyed this snack and it's something I will be buying again.

Quest Protein BBQ Chips: These bbq chips are baked and are a flaky crispy chip.  The bbq flavor has a bit of a kick, so these are not a boring protein snack.

061

Caveman Cookies:  SnackSack sent the alpine hazelnut carob cookie and the tropical coconut macadamia cookie.  My husband tried the alpine cookie, but he felt it was a bit to “grainy” for his liking.

060

Boom Chicka Pop: sweet + salty kettle corn and sea salt:  My whole family loves popcorn and Boom Chicka Pop is gluten-free, non gmo and made with whole grains, not to mention, it tastes great.

059

Raw Revolution Protein Bars:  I will admit, I normally hate almost every protein bar, but these Raw Revolution bars were pretty good.  I haven't tried the peanut butter and sea salt bar yet, but the peanut butter, dark chocolate and sea salt bar was very tasty.  It had a natural peanut butter taste, mixed with dark chocolate.

Madecasse Sea Salt + Nibs:  This bar is made with 63% dark chocolate cooca nibs and salt.  This bar had a really rich taste and you can eat just a small amount, and still get your chocolate fix.

058

Sheffa Snack Mix: The sweet snack mix is made with almonds, soy nuts, cranberries, papaya and pineapple.  The zesty snack mix is made with chickpea noodles, roasted corn and toasted seeds.  This has a toasted flavor with a spicy kick.

056

Final Thought: This was a really great box, filled with all kinds of healthy snacks.  I am a self profession junk food lover, but I really enjoyed most of the snacks in this box.  The protein chips and the Raw Revolution bars were the biggest surprises in the box, and I can't believe I liked them so much.  There were a couple of snacks that weren't my taste, but overall, this box was great.  If you want to try SnackSack, use this link with the code BOXMOM10, to save 10% on your first box.
