The Boodle Box May 2015 Review

The April 2015 Boodle Box arrived, and once again, it was a cute month.  The Boodle Box is a fun subscription for girls 5 through the teen years.  Boxes are $25.00/month and the boxes are divided up by age: Boodle 1 and Boodle 2.  The Boodle 1 box is for 5-10 year olds and the Boodle 2 box is for 11 years old and up.  Each box is filled with trendy accessories, beauty products and more.

The Details:

The Boodle Box comes in a cute box and ships at the end of the previous month.  I love getting the next month's box, before that month even arrives.

First Look

The theme for May is “Lovely Ladies”.  All the products in the box are ladybug inspired!

109

The back of the information card has a list of everything in the box.  I love the cute little ladybugs beside each item.

094

Spots Twist Tie Headbands 2 for $29.98  These headbands have a wire inside and can be worn as a headband, bracelet, or around a ponytail.  They remind me of Minnie Mouse and I am going to wear them on an upcoming Disney Trip.

104

Ladybug Toothbrush Cover $3.99  This little ladybug will keep your toothbrush free from germs.  There are little suction cups included, so you can stick it to your tile or mirror.

098

Ladybug Cookie from the Sweet Shop $2.50 Not only is this cookie cute, but it is so tasty! This is a chocolate covered Oreo, decorated like a ladybug.

096

Tattify Nail Wraps $8.00 These nail wraps have cute little ladybug designs on them.  There are 22 total wraps, so you can get two manicures out of these.

099

Cargo_HD CC Cream $34.00  A cc cream is a great beauty product for teens.  CC creams even out skin tone, without creating a heavy makeup look.  I received the shade medium, but I think is a bit dark for my super pale skin.  I think it's a gamble to include foundation type products in boxes, since skin tones vary so much.

106

DOT by Marc Jacobs Perfume Sample $1.99 This is a fantastic perfume.  It is a mix of red berries, sweet honeysuckle, creamy vanilla and jasmine.  This is a very light floral/fruity scent and I love it.  The full size bottle is also so cute (I liked to it).  This is something I will wear and buy when it runs out.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $80.46.  I love the headbands and the perfume.  The cc cream is nice quality, but I wish it would've been customized to my skin tone.  I love the ladybug theme and I think teens would like this entire box.  You can get your own Boodle Box HERE.
