I received this box for review.  We didn't fill out a scent profile, so we were sent three random scents.

Scent Trunk ships in a regular padded envelope and comes by USPS.

Everything fits in a little black box.

All the bottles were tucked in a little black velvet pouch. There are no girly squiggles in this box.

Chemical Bonding by Ineke Eau du Parfum: $95.00 for 2.5 oz:  This cologne has base notes of Amber, Powdery Musk, Vetiver.  My husband thought this was a bit to feminine/floral for his tastes.

There was a two-sided information card with each cologne.  This is a new addition since my last review (November 2014).  Each card gives a brief description, and the best season and time of day to wear the cologne.  The longevity measures how long the scent will last on your skin and sillage is how much the scent projects.

Chemical Bonding can be worn during the day and in every season but winter.  It has long, longevity and a medium sillage rating.

Memoirs of a Tresspasser by Imaginary Authors $85.00 for 60ML  This has Vanilla and Smoky top notes and base notes of Myrhh, Benzoin, and Guaiac Wood.  This was my husband's favorite cologne.  My husband said it had a mild cognac scent.

Memoirs of a Tresspasser should be worn in the winter and fall.  It can be worn any time of day and it has a long-lasting scent that lingers.

Le Roi Empereur by Rance 1795: $130.00 for 3.4 fl oz  This has top notes of Anise, Lavender, and Orange flower.  It also has base notes of Amber, Cedar, Leather, Reunion Cinnamon, and Woodland Musk.  This had a softer spicy scent but my husband also really liked this.

le roi

Le Roi is recommended to be worn during the day and in any season.  This has a nice longevity and sillage rating as well

Final Thought: My husband is very picky when it comes to cologne (he owns only two bottles of cologne), but he enjoyed two of the three bottles this month.  My husband didn't even fill out a profile, so I am really impressed with Scent Trunk's selections.  I can't see my husband ever shopping in a department store and testing scents, so I am glad there is Scent Trunk.  Scent Trunk introduced my husband to two fragrances that he enjoys, so I am really impressed with Scent Trunk.  You can check out Scent Trunk using this link and the coupon EARLY5 will save you $5.00.
