Ball Club Box April 2015 Review

Ball Club Box April 2015 Review

Ball Club Box is a subscription service devoted to your favorite sports teams.  Boxes start at $30.00/month and are filled with gear from your favorite teams.  When you sign up, you choose the box you want and then you can pick your teams for the box.  Ball Club Box carries teams from MLB, NHL, NBA, NCAA, and NFL.  You can also choose a kid-friendly box (which contains no lighters or shot glasses) or you can choose female oriented accessories for a woman.  While there are several boxes to choose from, only The Club Box is a subscription service, the other boxes are one time only boxes.

The Details:

Cost: General Admission Box $30.00, The Club Box $50.00, The Executive Club Box $75.00, Ball Club Season Pass $150.00

What's in the box? Based on the box you select, you will get various sports themed items, all specific to your favorite team.  For the General Admission Box, you will get 3 items of your 1 favorite team.  The Club Box, you will get 6 to 7 handpicked items to reflect the quality sports merchandise of your choice (up to 2 teams).  The General Admission Box, The Executive and Club Season Pass are not a monthly subscription and are just bought as your wish.  Only the Club Box is a monthly subscription.

I was sent The Ball Club Box for review, and I got to choose two teams for this box.

First Look

NCAA Indiana Hoosiers Lanyard $5.99  This lanyard features my Hoosiers and has a clip off end.  I have a couple lanyards, but they don't clip off.  I am going to use this for my car keys, it is perfect for a busy mom with two kids.

112

Indiana Sculpted Mini Mug: $6.99  This mini mug can be use as a shot glass, or a tiny espresso.  Note, there is a sticker on the bottom of the mug, that is not a chip in the picture.  I have a shot glass collection and this will fit in nicely.

111

NCAA Collegiate Survivor Cord Bracelet, Large (Louisville Cardinals) $8.99  This bracelet is made of nylon and it is looks like a basketball net.  This is a great bracelet to wear to the basketball games next year, or just anytime you want to show off your team.  My husband really liked this, so I am not sure who will wear it.  My husband doesn't wear bracelets, but this is a mainly looking wrist band.

NCAA Licensed CordialShot Glass (2 Oz.) (Louisville Cardinals) $6.99  If you need a double shot, this is your glass.  Again, this shot glass will fit in nicely with my collection.  I actually don't have any sports team themed shot glasses.

NCAA Officially Licensed 16oz Logo Pint Glass & 4 Piece Coaster Set $12.99 Ball Club Box must think I am thirsty!  This 16 oz pint glass comes with a set of four Louisville Cardinals coasters.  I really like the size of this glass, so I don't mind another glass.

Team Supporter Sunglasses (Indiana) $10.00 (based on similar sunglasses)  When I first saw these in the box, I thought they were for men, but they are small just for women.  I am always loosing my sunglasses, so I am happy to have another pair.  I love the IU logo on the side too!

This is the look at the sunglasses from the front.

Final Thought: The total value of this box was $50.95, which is over the cost of the box, but not as high as I was expecting.  I liked all the items in the box and I was glad they were all official licensed products.  I do wish there was a little more variety in the box, as I received three things to drink out of.  I do think this is a nice box, especially for sports fans.  I also like that there are three boxes that don't automatically renew, so it's a great way to give someone a one-time-only box.  If you want to try out Ball Club Box, use this link with the code BOXMOM10 to save 10% on your box.
