Citrus Lane February 2015 Review – 5 Year Old Boy – Free Gifts + Coupons

I was happy to see my 5-year-old's Citrus Lane box today. Citrus Lane is $29.00/month and boxes are filled with toys, books, snacks and personal care items.  My 5 1/2-year-old is getting to old for Citrus Lane, but he loves his boxes, so I can't picture canceling anytime soon.  005

My 5 year old's Citrus Lane box seemed smaller than my 3-year-old's box.

First Look

list

There is always an information card filled with descriptions and discounts for each item.

Hape – Lacing Skate $11.99 My 3 year old really wanted the skate, and my 5 year old wanted the snack bags, so they are switching toys.

031

This skate is super cute.  I don't think my 3 year old will want to learn to tie it yet, but he will have fun rolling it around.

Tegu Blocks $12.00 I was rather surprised how expensive these blocks are.  I couldn't find a 4 packs of triangle blocks, so I just used the cube block price.  These blocks are magnetic and look really fun.  I really want to find a way to get more, at a great price of course.

YumEarth Naturals, Sour Jelly Beans $1.80 These contain 100% daily vitamin c, all natural fruit extract, and are fat free, nut free and gluten free.  My kids love these and will be very happy to see more.

024

I Could Be, You Could Be $6.99  This is a cute book is about a boy and girl, and their travels imagining themselves as an astronaut, an Arab pony and more.

Final Thought:  This box had a total value of $32.78.  This was a really cute box and I think my 5 year old with really love it and I know my 3 year old will love the shoe.  This box didn't have a huge value, but I really liked everything in the box.  There are also many different coupons for you to save on your first box.  If you want to try Citrus Lane, check out the offers below.

Zulily is currently having a sale on the Tegu blocks. They are still expensive in relation to other blocks, but definitely more reasonable. Email me for an invite if you would like ([email protected]) and we both get a discount for future purchases.

The set you got was in my son’s box 2 mo. ago. He will be 3 in April, so our boys are about the same age. I think you got more age appropriate items than us last time – he got paper masks to color… designated 4 yo and up (not out thing). Generally, we are very happy with CL, but the last 2 boxes have been too old – like a year plus to grow in to. lol. Next box is our deciding box if we are going to switch to Bluum… Since you take both, what is your recommendation?
