November 2014 Bluum Review

November 2014 Bluum Review

Bluum is $24.95 a month and each month you get a box of toys, personal items and snacks for the age and stage of your child.  Bluum also lets you make selections about what milestones your child has reached.  Bluum then uses that information to better customize your box. You can try Bluum and save 50%, by clicking HERE.  Note: I would recommend using a prepaid card to sign up, as it can be difficult to cancel.  This month's box was for my T, my 2-year-old.  It is the 33 month old boy box.

Bluum always ships in a brightly colored box.  You really never know what you will get in your box.  Even two boxes for a 33 month olds can be different.

003

First Look:  Bluum  includes a little card, but it just has a quote on it.  Your actual information card is emailed to you, once your box is delivered.

Re Play Plate: $5.00 This plate is made from recycled milk jugs and is BPA free and dishwasher safe.  It would be fantastic if it was microwave safe, but it's still a nice plate.

006

Peek-A-Boo Pet Shop (Amazon Price $9.05) $3.99 Bluum Price Amazon had this at $9.00, but I Bluum has it for $3.99, so I am going with that price.  This puzzle has 12 pieces and has lift up flaps.  This is cute but a little cheap looking.

009

Child's Play Big Day Out $5.39 Child's Play books are always a hoot to read.  They are great because they are super sturdy, and they even hold up to a toddler.  They are a bit weird because they are a collection of phrases, and not really a story.

007

SmartyPants Adult Complete plus Fiber: Multivitamin $32.99 I was actually really excited to get these.  I had these in my March 2014 Bulu Box and I loved them.  These have three flavors: lemon, orange, and strawberry banana.  They are very tasty and they all the vitamin D you need, along with other vitamins.  Bluum is a mommy/kid box, so often there are mommy items and kids items.  I am out of vitamins and I am horrible at remembering to buy them, so these will be used.

Crocodile Creek ABC Board Book $5.99 This book is no longer being published.  It is a cute board book with all the ABCs.  It is a nice book to have in the car for T.  He loves books.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $53.35  The box had a great value for the price, but I wasn't blown away.  The vitamins were my favorite item in the box.  The plate was nice too, but I thought the puzzle was a bit cheap.  You can try Bluum and save 50%, by clicking HERE.  Note: I would recommend using a prepaid card to sign up, as it can be difficult to cancel.  I rarely mention another box in a review, but if you are looking for a great box for kids, check out Citrus Lane.  They never disappoint (well, I probably had one box I didn't love in 2 years).  Anyway, click HERE and check out all my Citrus Lane reviews, so you can make the best decision.
