First Look

There was a letter enclosed that talked about the artist in this month's box.  The artisan for this month was River Valley Soaps.  Eddie Gendo is the artist and the company is from New York, New York.   ThinkSoap is also doing a contest to guess the artist for next month.  This winner will win a free box. The clues are : cat, Mieke, SLC.

River Valley Soaps Oatmeal Spice: $3.79 This reminds me an Apple Spice candle.  This smells really relaxing and it reminds me of big comfy sweaters and apple pie.  This is made with 85% certified organic ingredients, which is the closest to 100% as you can get making soap.

River Valley Soaps Citrus Lavender: $3.79  This is a combination of tangerine, oranges and lemon.  This is a nice clean citrus scent. It is also certified organic.

River Valley Soaps Peppermint Leaf $3.79 This is certified organic lemongrass and made with patchouli, lime, rosemary, sage and a dash of menthol crystals.  This would be great to use when you have a cold coming on.  It really wakes up your senses.029

ThinkSoap included two bookmarks and a sample bar of Lemongrass Tea.  The soap smells like an incense shop.  It is a bit too strong for me, but my husband like it.

Final Thought: The total value of this box was $11.37.  If you bought the bars directly from River Valley Soaps, you would pay an additional $5.95 shipping.  I do wish there was one more bar for the price, but it is hard to have a standard price for a subscription box and include many different artists with different prices.  I do really like the soaps from the box and I would have never knows about River Valley Soaps, if it's weren't for this subscription.  If you want to try ThinkSoap, click HERE.  ThinkSoap is also doing a giveaway, which you can enter HERE.  Note: the giveaway is sponsored and conducted by ThinkSoap only.
