Whimseybox August 2014 Review + Coupon
WhimseyBox is a craft subscription box that sends a complete craft, with all the supplies needed, for $15.00 a month. Every month, WhimseyBox sends project instructions, DIY supplies, a reusable storage box, and an original 5×7 original art print each month. WhimseyBox’s slogan is “Stop pinning, start making”. I love Pinterest, but I am horrible at completing projects. It takes so much time to plan a craft, take the kids to the store with me and then attempt the project. WhimseyBox sends everything to me for only $15.00 a month. There is even a coupon to save you $5.00 on your first box!

When am I billed? You are billed between the 4th-6th of the month.
How do I cancel? Monthly subscribers can cancel at anytime and there’s never any silliness like cancellation fees. Simply log in to your account, navigate to “My Dashboard” then “Account†cancel your membership there before your next billing cycle.
Inside is another box. Whimseyboxes are pretty sturdy and are nice for holding craft supplies.
The directions for each project, includes an art print on the cover.
This project is DIY Agate Slice Jewelry Set. The directions walk you through step by step, on how to make the jewelry.
Whimseybox includes a card with a list of all the items in the box. There is also a sticker to place on your box (help for organization) and a pin for your completed project.
The first step was to make two balls out of the clay.
You cut each ball in half, roll it out and twist it. After you twist the dough enough, you roll it in a ball.
One you have the ball, you flatten it out and form the pendent and earrings.
You bake the clay and then…
You add the glue and glitter once everything has baked. The finished pieces!
Final Thought: I am excited to complete this project. I love the purple and white colors. This project was so much fun to make. I have tons of clay left over, so I am going to make more pendants and earrings for gifts. Whimseybox is a great subscription that sends fun projects. SAVE.
