RocksBox August 2014 Review #2
RocksBox send 3 pieces of jewelry for $19.00 a month. You wear the pieces and then send them back for new pieces. You fill out a style survey, so RocksBox knows more about you. Each time you get a box, you get a return shipping pouch (Free shipping all the time), 3 pieces of jewelry and a paper listing you pieces, plus a place to give your feedback about your items. If you happen to loose your survey, no worries. You can give you feedback online. You can keep your RocksBox set for as long as you want, you will just pay the monthly fee every month. This RocksBox review is my 13th box with RocksBox.
RocksBox really curates the box to your preferences. They really read your comments and will make your box based on your tastes. RocksBox writes personalized messages on your information sheet as well. It feels like I have my own personal shopper.
If you decide you love one of the pieces in your box, and you want to buy it, you can purchase it for 20% off retail. When you send back your pieces you don't want, RocksBox will simple charge you for the piece you kept. You can send items back as fast as you want. I usually get 2-3 RocksBox a month. Rocksbox always comes in a poiymailer. When you are ready to send your jewlrey back, you slap on the shipping label they included and seal it back up (it has a self seal strip)
All the jewelry is nicely packed in each little box.
There is an information sheet that lets you rate each piece and give the stylist tips for your next box. You can also purchase pieces at a 20% discount.
House of Harlow 1960 Sunburst Button Earrings in Navy Member price $28.00. I love silver and Rocksbox has been great about sending me only silver pieces. The centers of these earrings are navy leather. They are really pretty but I didn't love them enough to keep.
Wanderlust + Co Orbit Silver Ring Member Price: $28.00 This is a really pretty silver ring and I have seen it in fashion magazines this month. This was fun to wear out, but It felt a bit weird on.
The picture of my necklace got messed up, so here is the necklace with the complete box set.
Jenny Bird Frida Collar in Silver/Turquoise member price: $120.00 This piece is the reason I love RocksBox. I wouldn't spent $120,00 on a necklace (I'm thrifty), so I am glad I can wear a piece like this for only $19.00 a month. This necklace is gorgeous!
Final Thought: This was a great box and I feel like my stylist really knows my style. The necklace this month was a home run hit for me. It is beyond gorgeous and I loved wearing it.
