Oishiibox August 2014 Review – Asian Subscription Box

Oishiibox August 2014 Review

Oishiibox August 2014 Review

OishiiBox sent me this box for review.  OishiiBox is an Asian subscription box, that sends snacks, sweets and all things Kawaii from Korea, Japan, Taiwan and beyond.  Subscriptions cost $12.00 a month and each box is filled with tons of goodies.   A portion of each purchase will be donated to UNICEF.  If you want a different charity for your donation, you can contact them.  For $12.00 a month, I was really excited to see what would be in the box.  As of right now, you purchase the July, August and September's boxes individually.  You won't be charged on going for these months.

The Details

Cost: $12.00 a month

Shipping:  OishiiBox ships to the United States and shipping is free.

What's in the box? For $12/month (free shipping) you can get a handpicked box of Asian goodies from Korea, Japan, and Taiwan and beyond!  Choose to add the July, August, or September boxes.  A portion of each purchase will be donated to UNICEF.

When does the box ship? OishiiBox should be shipped and delivered within the first two weeks of every month.

What is the cut off date to get a box? In order to receive lets say an August OishiiBox, you must order before the 23rd of every month.  This would mean you must order by July 23rd.  If you have missed a cutoff date but want the most recent box, please contact Oishiibox.

First Look:  This box was packed with all kinds of goodies.

043

Poifull:  These are little jelly bean candies in the flavors grape, passion fruit, lemon and raspberry.  These were fantastic and my hubby tried to take them all!  I have to find more of these, because they were amazing.

044

This is what the candy looks like, very tasty.

054

Rice Crackers: These are little fried crackers.  They have a good flavor, but they tasted a bit toasty.

055

This is what the rice crackers look like.

051

Oreo Green Tea:  This is a soft Oreo cookie with green tea inside.  C liked this, but wasn't crazy about the after taste.  I do find it neat, that there are so many different variations of common treats.

052

A look at the cookie!

050

Creme Brulee Kit Kat:  I love all the variations of Kit Kats.  This creme brulee version is really really good.

048

Hello Kitty Biscuits with Chocolate Cream: These are little biscuit sticks with chocolate.  This is a fun treat and pretty tasty.

049

Here is a look inside the container.

046

Pretz: Fried and Pizza:  These are little sticks that are flavored with pizza and salt.  The pizza Pretz taste similar to an American snack, but I can't think of the one.

Final Thought: This was a really tasty box.  My favorite items were the Poifull and the Pretz. The Poifull were fantastic.  I would love to find more of the Poitfull,  I love trying new snacks.  Oishiibox finds unique and tasty treats and packs them in their boxes.  If you want to try OishiiBox, click HERE.
