HeroDogBox July 2014 Review and Discount

HeroDogBox July 2014 Review

HeroDogBox July 2014 Review

HeroDogBox, who sent me this box to review, is a subscription box devoted to dogs.  HeroDogBox is $29.00 a month, but you can pay as little as $19.00 a month with a 6 month plan.  HeroDogBog makes boxes for every size dog.  When you sign up, you choose between a small, medium and large size dog.  Hero Dog Box also gives back.  Every month, Hero Dog Box picks a dog in a shelter/rescue, and proceeds from the box, go to that dog.  I have said it before, but I love companies who give back, especially to animals.

The Details:

Cost: 1 month-$29.00/month, 3 months-$24.00/month, 6 months-$19.00/month

Coupon: Use the code SubscriptionBoxMom to save $5.00 on your order

What’s in the box? 4-5+ Healthy treats, fun toys, and quality products

When am I billed?  You will be billed for your full plan immediately upon signup. Your plan will automatically renew (unless you decide to cancel prior to renewal) and your renewal billing will occur on the 3rd of the month following the last delivery of your current plan

When does the box ship? If you ordered your HeroDogBox before the cutoff date (10th of each month) your HeroDogBox will be mailed out on the 20th of the month. If you ordered after the 10th of the month your box will be shipped the following month. Depending on your location, you can expect to receive your box within 5 to 10 days after shipment.

How do I cancel?  email support@herodogbox.com with your full name

HeroDogBox ships in a huge box and ships by USPS.  I will note, there won’t be any pictures of my dog in this review.  My (my parents) dog sadly passed away this past Monday.  I am still very sad to loose my little buddy, but I wanted to share this box with you.

First Look:  I love the little paw print tissue paper.

There was an information card in the box with all the items and their description.

This month, HeroDogBox is sponsoring Katie.  She is a 1 1/2 year old Aussie/Retriever mix.  You can learn more about Katie at www.aussierescueandiego.org.

Honest Pet Products Organic Dog Shampoo $2.49.  I like that this is organic, so it is safe for dog’s sensitive skin.  This is safe, non toxic and hypoallergenic.

Lil’ Lovee Bakery  $2.00.  You can break these apart easily but they are hard enough to help clean teeth.

Kona’s Chips Out of Control Peanut Butter Cookies $5.49 A soft chewable treat made with oat flour, rolled oats, rye flour, flaxseed, peanut butter and carob. All human grade ingredients for your little guy

Petsport USA Marine Animal $9.99 This is a nice size toy and has a fun little squeaker inside.

PooBagger $29.95:  This is an awesome pooper scooper.  You never have to touch poo.  You attach the bags and scoop.  No mess!

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $49.96.  The box is only $29.00, so this had a great value.  I loved all the items in the box, especially the PooBagger.  I am sad I couldn’t give these items to my dog, but I have a friend, who has a big lovable dog that would love them.  If you want to try HeroDogBox, click HERE and use the code SubscriptionBoxMom to save $5.00 on your order.
