Target Beauty Box Review
Target has released their Target Beauty Box and it was only $5.00! The great thing about the box, is I knew everything in it, before purchasing. Since I had a Target card I was able to save a bit more and I went through Ebates. It was a great deal!
Target shipped their boxes in cute bulls eye boxes. Everything was wrapped in clear plastic and shipped USPS.
There was an outer decorative sleeve and the inside box was a plan box. I plan to keep the box to wrap future presents in.
I was excited to try out the products in the box. Target even used tissue paper in the box, just like a real subscription box.
Target included an information card and a coupon for $3.00 off a $15.00 purchase. There was also a 20% off coupon for Dermstore, blush, and hairenvy
Herbal Essences Naked Dry Shampoo (1.7 oz): Retail Price: $1.99: Give hair a rejuvenating boost with this paraben and colorant-free formula made with natural tapioca to instantly absorb excess oil with less residue. I haven’t tried this yet, but I will use it on a day I don’t feel like washing my hair.
COVERGIRL Smoochies Sizzle Gloss (.44 fl oz): Retail Price $5.50: Pucker up. Sheer color meets sizzling shimmer in a moisturizing formula that’s always stunning, never sticky.
This color was tickled pink. It was a great gloss. It has an angled applicator, that makes it easy to apply. It wasn’t sticky and looks great on.
L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara (.22 fl oz): Retail Price $7.39: Stretch and lengthen lashes for a fluttery, winged-out look with this unique mascara formula and revolutionary asymmetrical Butterfly Brush.
I really liked how this made my lashes looked. I haven’t used L’Oreal mascara before, but I may be trying more from this brand.
Jergens BB Cream Light (2 fl oz): Retail Price $3.20: Finally, a multi-tasking beauty cream in a quick-drying formula that goes on sheer and delivers visible results in just 5 days.
To be honest the BB, CC, creams are lost on me. I don’t really know what they do, but I like this one. This had a very light color and just gave my skin a boost. It also feels smooth on my skin.
TONI&GUY Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray (2.5 fl oz): Retail Price $4.99: Want beachy hair without hitting the surf? Spray from root to tip for salty, sultry texture and subtle, windswept waves.
I have used this product before, and it really worked well at holding my curl. My hair is a bit dry right now, so I will wait till this summer to use it.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $23.07 and I paid less than $5.00. This was an incredible deal. I love the gloss, mascara and cc cream. The hair products I will use a bit later. The Target Beauty Box is sold out but HERE is the link to the box.
