Lucid Box, who sent me this box to review, is a jewelry subscription box that sends two pieces of jewelry from the company Lucid New York, starting at $26.00 a month. You get $58.00-$74.00 worth of jewelry every month. I like jewelry, but I rarely buy it for myself. I have trouble picking out pieces that look good on me. I was excited to try Lucid Box, and have someone pick out jewelry for me.
The Details
Cost: $29.00 month to month, $27.00/mth 3 month subscription. 26.00/mth for a year subscription
Shipping: FREE. The subscription box only ships to the US right now, but Lucid New York ships world wide.
What's in the box? Every month there are two pieces of jewelry in each box. The retail value of what's in each box is between $58-$74
When does the box ship? Orders ship the second or third week of the month. Sign up until the end of the previous month to receive the shipment.
What if I don't like what's in the box? “If you absolutely don't like what you receive, you can send it back. We can either issue you a credit to spend on www.LucidnewYork.comor extend your subscription by 1 month. Sorry we can't reimburse your shipping costs.”

Lucid Box Packaging
Lucid Box came shipped in a red padded envelope and was shipped by USPS.
First Look
All the jewelry was in a drawstring bag and there was a letter. Lucid Box wrote “Today I feel positively…” and there was a list of adjectives. It came form www.positivelypresent.com. Lucid Box suggested picking a word to focus on every day, or embrace the whole list.
Plated Long Heart Necklace
Plated Long Heart Necklace $39.00 This is a long necklace and is a bronze/copper color. I couldn't find this piece online at Lucid New York. This piece isn't really my style but it is cute. I generally wear silver pieces.
Gold Plated Bangle Lot
Gold Plated Bangle Lot $35.00 This is a set of four bangles. Three of the bangles are plain gold and the fourth bangle has rhinestones in it. This is a nice bangle set and I like it much better than the necklace. I couldn't find this piece at Lucid New York.

Final Thought: In all, I received $74.00 worth of jewelry and the subscription cost starts at only $26.00. Both pieces were cute, but not exactly my style. December box, one piece was broken. January box, delayed until February. Jan/Feb combined box — only three pieces instead of four. No response to my emails/Facebook messages. Cancelled yesterday. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
