The box arrived by USPS. The box is interesting, because it looks like it is spray painted. I prefer a printed box, but it is interesting.
My interests were photography, technology and family. My gift was from Drunk on Ink and was a set of four Alcohol Ink Coasters. They are made by Ashley Ulbricht. The coasters sell in a pack of 2 on Etsy for $9.00. The total cost for 4 coasters plus shipping, would be $26.90. This is a bit lower than the $30.00 price, but I do love the coasters. If I saw them in an an artisan fair, I would buy them.
Final Thought: I love the idea of this box. I like that you can give your preferences and have a special present sent to you. I also like that Blind Surprise uses independent artisans and inventors to get the products for their boxes. I was a bit disappointed that the value was a lower than $30.00 but I was very happy with coasters. I would have liked to receive more background information about the company.
