Glossybox December Review

Glossybox

Glossybox

Glossybox is a beauty subscription box that sends five surprise luxury beauty products each month for $21.00.  Living Social had a great deal a few month's ago, so I picked up a year subscription at $12.00 a box.  Glossybox ships at the end of the month, which is nice because most boxes don't ship late.

Glossybox Reusable Box

Glossybox is packed in another box.  The box is made of sturdy cardboard.    This is a box I will keep and reuse.

Glossybox wrapped their items in beautiful packaging.  The tissue paper is sealed with a Glossybox sticker.  Everything was tied with a ribbon and the information card was included.

Glossybox Information Card

Glossybox has a great information card.  They include full color photos of each product, along with a description with retail prices.

The Ardency Inn PUNKER World's Baddest Eyeliner has a thicker brush than my liquid eyeliner.  This eyeliner goes on smooth and can create some dramatic looks.

Naobay Oxgenating Cream Moisturizing

Naobay Oxgenating Cream Moisturizing $44.00 for 1.7 Fl Oz, ($ 26.14 sample)

Neoby Oxgenating Cream Moisturizing contains essential oils like rosehip and sweet almond.  This has a fresh, almost citrus smell to it.  It is a light lotion but moisturizes well.

Nails Inc Victoria Polish

Nails Inc Victoria Polish $9.50 for  .33oz (Full Size)

I thought the nail polish was black at first glance.  Once I made a test mark, I was really excited.  I love the dramatic color

Michael Todd True Organics

Michael Todd True Organics $34.00 for 3.4 Fl Oz ($10.00 this sample)

Michael Todd True Organics Pumpkin Mask contains pumpkin enzyme and glycolic acid that dissolves impurities like dead skin and clogged pours, which improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  This is not appropriate for sensitive skin.  I am not a big mask user, but I will try this, as I have heard great things about it.

Anatomicals

Anatomicals $5.50 for 10 fl oz ($2.75 for sample size)

Anatomicals You Need a Blooming Shower smells like Roses.  It has aloe vera, witch hazel, rose and jasmine scents.  I am excited to try this because it smells amazing.

Final Thought: The total value of my first Glossybox was $65.60.  The regular cost of the box is $21.00, so I received a great value.  The nail polish and the shower gel are my favorite products.  I am really pleased with the quality of the box and the items inside.  Glossybox really feels like a luxury subscription box.  If you are interested in trying Glossybox, just click HERE.
