New Subscription Box: MK Beauty In a Box Review

MK Beauty Box is a new subscription box centered around Mary Kay cosmetics.  I love Mary Kay, so when Melanie (owner), offered me a box to review, I said yes.  MK Beauty Box is $30.00 a month (plus $3.95) and you get over $45.00 worth of beauty items.  There is also a teen/tween box that is $10.00 a month .  The teen/tween box features a MK at Play product, along with other age appropriate goodies ($15-$20 value).  MK Beauty Box is owned by Melanie Bentley, an independent Mary Kay consultant.

Cost:           MK Beauty Box: $30.00 a month
                   Teen/Tween Box: $10.00 a month
Shipping: $3.95
Is there reoccurring billing?  No, you pay when you order.  If you order 4 or more boxes receive an extra item in your 4th box valued at least $20

What’s in the box?
 MK Beauty Box: Each MK Beauty in a box month has a theme and you will receive products and other fun items – retail value at least $45 or more

Teen/Tween Box: This box is filled with a MK at Play product as well as other age related/appropriate items. Girls love getting this box in the mail! Value $15-20 

When does the box ship?  You have from the 1st to the 10th to order the box.  

How do I cancel?  You only buy the month’s you want, so there is no canceling.

 MK Beauty Box included a list of all the box contents.  Everything was full size items.

MK Beauty Box included information about the products in the box along with a coupon for 20% off  TimeWise Firming Eye Cream  

e.l.f mechanical eyelash curler 1.00
I looked up the retail value, and was really surprised it was $1.00.  This is a great eyelash curler and worth more than $1.00 in my opinion.  
Mary Kay Brow Tools $4.00
This set includes tweezers for shaping, a spooley brush for grooming brow hairs and an angled brush for applying brow powder.  This is a great set that will be perfect for travel.  

Mary Kay Lash Love Lengthening Mascara $15.00
I love Mary Kay mascara and it is all I use.  I was thrilled to see this in my box.  
This mascara:
                                                * Creates bold, instantly intensified length of lashes.
*Lifts, curls and perfectly separates lashes.
*Conditions and strengthens lashes.
*Nonclumping, flake-free formula wears all day for over 10 hours.
Mary Kay Lash Primer $15.00
I have never used a lash primer, and honestly didn’t know they made such a thing.  You apply the mascara while the primer is still wet.
The lash primer:
*Instantly intensifies lash volume and creates longer-looking lashes.

*Lifts lashes and helps them stay curled longer.

*Coats without flaking, yet removes effortlessly.

*Helps mascara wear longer

Mary Kay Oil Free Makeup Remover $15.00
I love love love this stuff.  This removes your eye make up effortlessly.  It even removes waterproof mascara without having to rub your eye off.

The Whole Box
