September Taste Trunk and Discount Code

September Sweet Trunk
I normally get the BBQ Taste Trunk, but I decided to get the Sweet Trunk this time.  Taste Trunk is $29.00 a month  but you can save 25% on your 1st trunk by using Boxmom25 in the promo code field and putting “Erin Hamm” in the special instructions area.

The Box

Ever Taste Trunk shows up in a box likes this.  I like the embossed seal on the box.
I love the packaging
Information Cards
I love Taste Trunk's information cards.  They tell you a bit about the company along with details about the product
There was a card advertising a chance to win a year of trunks when you order a 1 gift subscription.  There was also a unique code given for $5.00 credit in the taste trunk store.
First Look
I was excited to get in this box.  There was lots of stuff inside.
Torn Ranch Mashuga Nuts Double Chocolate Walnuts $4.50
As soon as I saw these, I thought of the show Friends.  There is an episode involving Mashuga Nuts.  If you have never seen the show, you won't know what I am talking about.  Anyway, these are tasty.  They have a nice chocolate/walnut taste.
Hillside Candy Sugar Free Candy $8.25 a pound
I don't like taffy.  It always seems to taste like it is filled artificial flavors.  This taffy is sugar free and tastes like actual fruit.  These were tasty and I wouldn't mind getting more of these.
Torie and Howard Organic Hard Candy $8.99
These are organic candies that taste AMAZING.  There are 4 flavors: d'anjou pear & cinnamon, pomegranate & nectarine, blood orange & honey, and pink grapefruit and tupelo honey.
These taste like there are real fruits in them and there is no artificial dyes, nuts, gmos, corn syrup, gluten, wheat, cascin, soy or dairy.  These are candy I wouldn't mind sharing with my 4 year old.  We will need to buy more, as my husband may steal them all.
Cici's Butterhorns $9.99
These are hand rolled Italian cookies that are filled with cinnamon, sugar and walnuts.  The rolling of the cookie keeps the center soft and the outside a flaky golden brown.
These were out-of-this-world good.  The center is soft and the outside has a crispy shell.  The cinnamon and sugar make this treat great.
Sara Snacker Chipn'etzel $7.50
These are all natural cookies made with potato chips and pretzels.  Okay, in case you don't believe they are actually all natural, here are the ingredients: Unbleached Wheat Four (malted barley), Butter (Milk), Sugar, Potato Chips (Potatoes, sunflower or canola oil), Pretzels (soft winter wheat flour, salt, sunflower or canola oil, corn syrup, malt syrup, yeast), Whole Eggs, Sea Salt and Pure Vanilla Extract.
I didn't know what to expect with these.  I love chips, pretzels and cookies, but together?  I tried them and they are amazing.  They are salty and sweet together in a perfect combination.  They really just melt in your mouth.
Bari Almond Biscotti
I have had this in another box before.  My husband enjoyed our previous one with some coffee.
The Box

Final Thought: I loved this Taste Trunk.  I will have to get the sweet trunk next month too.  I loved everything in this box.  The total value of the box was $30.98 not including the biscotti or the taffy.  This was a wonderful box full of great treats!  Taste Trunk really takes care in picking out the best products for their boxes.  If you want to sign up for Taste Trunk, got to www.tastetrunk.com and save 25% by putting Boxmom25 in the promo code field, and putting “Erin Hamm” in the special instructions area.
