September Julep Maven: Cityscapes
This month's theme for September's Julep Maven was Cityscape. The theme was centered around the city lights. I almost skipped this month. I have many nail polishes and I didn't like all of them. I really loved the purple color in Classic with a Twist and Karmen (an add on polish). I decided to go ahead and get this month's box. I was also really curious about the cleansing oil. Julep Maven's boxes change from time to time. I really like the pretty pink box from last month. I hope it makes it appearance soon.

| First Look |
The cold tissue paper was a nice touch. The add on I got was outside the tissue paper.

| Card |
Each month, there is always a small card with a quote on it. This month: “If your dreams do not scare you, they aren't big enough.” Ellen Johnson Sirleaf

| Bonus Item |
There is also a bonus item thrown in each month. This month, Julep included a one-step polish remover pad. I am bad about using small samples, but I am actually going to try this.

| New Packaging |
This month was the debut of the new Julep Maven packaging. I am not sure why Julep is added extra packaging to their boxes. Maybe the cardboard is cheaper than the bubble wrap?

| Padma |
I love purple! Padma is a beautiful dark purple color. I am excited to use this and I think this will become one of my favorites.

| Florence |
I wish I could have traded this out for another color. This is a caramel/off white color. I will save this for a gift. I think my mom might like this color.

| Bare Face leaning Oil |
I am hesitant to try some new beauty products, that is why I sometimes get It Girl (It has 3 polishes). This says it has age-defying and cell-regenerative benefits. Since I am not longer 21, I am hoping this stuff works.

| Karmen |
I love this color. This is my favorite item of the box and it is my add on. It is a red/pink/gold sparkly color. I simply love it and can't wait to use it.

Final Thought: This isn't my favorite month from Julep overall, but I really love Karmen and Padma. I really love Julep as a company.
