First Look

The box arrived by USPS and was fairly heavy.  My box was shipped on the 19th by Priority Mail and I received it on the 21st!  I love it when my boxes come quickly.

A peek inside
The box was very heavy, so I was excited to see what was inside.
The information card
Escape Monthly does their information cards a bit differently.  They have a custom travel brochure as their information card.  The brochure is just like one you would pick up at a travel center.
A look inside the brochure
Each of the products in the box is listed in the brochure as part of the itinerary.  I found this very unique and cleaver.  There is also some facts about Napa listed on the back
Napa Valley Wine Soap $8.95

This soap is 100% natural and is made with grapeseed oil, herbs and beeswax.  All of the items in the soap were gathered locally.  The soap smells nice.  It doesn't have a strong perfume smell, just nice smelling soap.

Mixture Lucious Lip Balm $4.99

I love lip balm and always tend to loose it.  I will throw this in my purse.  This is produced by hand in small batches.  It is never tested on animals.

Deluxe Floating Bath Candles $5.95 for 2
These are beautiful and I have never tried floating candles in my bath tub.
L'Ecuyer's Gourmet 3 Butter Chocolate Mint Soap Sample Size .25 oz

This is one of the surprise mystery items in the the box.  The product retails for $4.00 a bar.

Suki body Butter Cream Salve Sample

This is made with organic lavender extract and organic cocoa butter.  This is a multi functional, non greasy therapeutic organic balm.

Cookie Zen: Cookie and Cork Pairing Essentials $7.95
There are 5 lemon cookies in the box.  These sound delicious.
Clearly Natural Essentials Unscented Glycerine Soap 2oz Sample  The 4oz bar sells for $1.99

This was another bonus item.  I am not a bar soap person, so I will probably gift this to a friend

Mineral Essence Dead Sea Bath Salt $4.44

These are in the scent lavender/vanilla and are designed to bring deep relaxation.  I have 2 kids under 5, so I could use some deep relaxation once in awhile.

Tiesta Loose Leaf Tea in Sparkling White Grape $7.99
I don't drink tea but my husband does.  I will let him take this to work.
All Natural Loofa Bath Sponge $2.50
I have been wanting to buy one of these, so I am really excited to get one in this box.
Moon Handbook: Napa and Sonoma $16.96

This is a very informative book about the area.  I have AAA,so I get free travel books.  I will probably give to the next friend that goes to Napa.

100% Pure Juicy Sugar Bath Candles $15.00
This is made with natural ingredients and energize your skin and leave it feeling smooth.
7th Heaven Natural Face Mask $2.99
I have received these in another box, and I haven't' used them yet. I am going to try to use one soon.
$50.00 Naked Wines Gift Card
This isn't an actual gift card.  You have to purchase a case of wine to use this and Naked Wines doesn't ship to my state.
The Whole Box
Final Thought: The total value for my box was $77.72.  I paid $49.95 (minus 20% off), so I feel like I got my money's worth.  I like most of the the items in my box (minus the tea and wine gift card that I can't use).  I am not going to continue my subscription though.  I get many many boxes, and I can't afford to keep them all.  This would be a great gift subscription for someone.  Next month's location is “Oregon, The Lush Pacific Northwest”.  Use the code YOURESCAPE to save 20% off your subscription.  Click HERE to order.  What do you think about Escape Monthly?
