Stork Stack July 2013: Ready Set Summer.

This is my third month with Stork Stack.  I love the unique items in their boxes, so I plan to keep this subscription.  Stork Stack ships their boxes from Chicago, IL on the first of the month.  I received my box on July 5 (I live in Indiana).  The theme for this month was “Ready Set Summer”.  This month featured products from Child's Play, Melissa and Doug, Baby Banz, and Supergoop.  The box is for my 15 1/2 month old son.

The Box

First Look
Information Card
Melissa and Doug Slide and Seek Safari Baby and Toddler Toy ($5.99).  This is double sided.  There is a giraffe on one side and an alligator on another.  My son loves this toy.  We took it to church with us and it occupied him the whole time.
Child's Place International “Grow It!” by George Berkett .  It is no secret, I love books.  This is a very unique book as it isn't a board book and it's not a paperback book.  The pages are very thick, durable and easy to turn.
Baby Banz Bay UPF 50+ Rversaible Bucket Hat ($19.00).  I wasn't thrilled to see another hat, since  my son got one in the Citrus Lane box.  It isn't the fault of Stork Stack though, and it is a nice hat.  There is an adjustable strap on the hat too.
Bitsy's Brainfood: Assorted Smartsnacks in Lemon Broccoli ($2.50) These are made with whole wheat flower and broccoli.  I have never seen these before and I am eager for T to try them.

Final Thought: I really liked this box.  I was disappointed that we got another hat (Citrus Lane was the other box).  It is okay because I can trade it on a group site I belong too.  When you subscribe to four baby boxes, duplicates are bound to happen.  I love the slide toy from Melissa and Doug.  We have several Melissa and Doug toys, but not this one.  The book is great and fun to read.  The Bitzy's brainfood looks really neat and I can throw the sunscreen in my diaper bag.  The total value for my box is $33.48 (not including the sunscreen).  It is over what I paid and I like most of the items.
