Citrus Lane Review July 2013

Citrus Lane is for children newborn to age 5.  Each month you will get 4 or more items age appropriate for your child. The items are picked out by moms. You get toilettries, toys, books, eco friendly items, and sometimes a mom. Each box is geared to the age of your child from 0-5. Some of the brands of items have been Skip Hop, Melissa and Doug, Cloud b, Boon and many more. The items are of high quality and of great brands. Kits ship the 15th of the month and you will receive it from about the 17th-22nd. Use this the code TAKEHALF with the link http://ctrus.me/b0s_  to save 50% on your first box.  If you want a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription, click HERE to save $10.00 on your subscription.

I was excited when I received this month's box.  The box was much heavier than last month and seemed a bit bigger.  It also arrived early (July 16th).  I saw some spoilers and everyone who had received their box, had bought an add on.  I didn't not buy any adds, so I am  not sure how I got my box early.  An add on is a product you can purchase through Citrus Lane for full price, but you get free shipping.  You must be emailed by Citrus Lane with the products to purchase an add on.

My box was for a 16 month old boy.

I love a nice heavy box
As always, there is the pretty yellow tissue paper
First Look
Zo Li Snack Stack Snack Pile  ($18.00)  This is a 3 tiered container that holds 1 cup in each section.  Each section screws in to the one above it.  This secured the snacks better than a lid.  The is a nice big handle on top.  This could be clipped to a stroller or diaper bag for a day out.  I will certainly use this.
Ella's Kitchen: The Purple One ($1.75)  My son doesn't like too many “toddler” snacks, so I was thrilled to get a pouch.  My son loves pouches and could eat his weight in them.  This Ella's pouch is made with 100% organic fruits.
me4kids Cool It Buddy Instant Cold Pack ($2.99)  This is a 2 pack and disposable.  They get cold instantly and are made for bumps and bruises.  I will throw these in our suitcase for our next vacation.  These will be good for traveling.
Postagrams ($10.00)  This is a card for 10 postagrams.  A postagram is a postcard with a punchout picture.  These look cool.  I might use these for birthday thank you notes.
Melissa and Doug Fresh Start Animal Peg Puzzle ($9.99)  I love Melissa and Doug.  This is a wooden puzzle and has 1 puzzle piece for each animal.  I know T will love this
My whole box.

Final Thought: I really liked this box.  This is probably my favorite box from Citrus Lane so far.  I will use everything in this box.  The puzzle is great.  The snack container is wonderful for car trips or just a long shopping trip.  My son loves pouches and will gobble down that pouch today.  The ice packs are just good to have on hand.  The total value of my box is $42.73!!  That is an incredible value, plus I love the products.  The only odd thing was that I didn't get an information card this time.  What did you think of this month's box?
