First Look

Bookmark, Pencil, and Erasers Each box comes with a bookmark, pencil and a few small erasers.

Billy Sure Kid Entrepreneur Is A Spy by Luke Sharpe $3.84 Billy's mother says she is a scientist that works for the government but Billy finds out that she is really a spy. Billy ends up enrolling in spy school and invents something cool. His blueprints for the invention disappear and Billy has to find out where they went.

Discovery STEM Stars Women Who Rocked Space $4.99 My son loves space, so he is going to read this book. He was a bit disappointed it was all about women, but he's a 9-year-old boy. He just did a project on Gus Grissom so he will enjoy reading about space.

Dollar Bill Origami by Duy Nguyen $5.79 This book looks fun, but some of the directions look a bit complicated. My son likes origami and money, so this is going to be a fun book for him.

The back of the book has an envelope with practice paper. The envelope was ripped a bit, along with the bonus paper. I reached out to Learning Crate and they are sending a new book out next month.

Who Was Harriet Tubman $7.27 My son has several of the books in the “Who Was” series, but he doesn't have this one. My son loves reading about real people. places and things.

Derek Jeter Presents Night at the Stadium $9.94 Gideon loves going to Yankee Stadium. After going to a game, he wants to get his favorite player's autograph, but he gets lost in a magical part of the stadium. This book is described as part Night at the Museum, Alice in Wonderland and Field of Dreams. This looks cute, but this picture book is a bit young for a 9 year old.

Disney Tales From Adventureland The Keymaster's Quest $8.53 This book about adventure takes place in Adventureland attractions. Andy is off on a quest to find an ancient key and keep it from falling in the wrong hands.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $40.36. My son loved the Disney book the most, along with the spy book. The picture book was a bit young for my son, but my 7 year old liked it. If you want to subscribe, use the coupon LEARN to save 10% on your subscription.
