Ipsy Glam Bag Plus January 2019 Review

Ipsy Glam Bag Plus is a new subscription from Ipsy. Subscriptions are $25.00/month and contain five full-size makeup items personalized to you. Each box is valued at $120.00 or more. Ipsy Glam Bag Plus also sends a deluxe makeup bag every three months.

Ipsy also has the regular subscription. For $10.00 a month, you get a glam bag full of 4-6 beauty items. Once you get your bag, you can review your items online, and tell Ipsy what you think. When you complete reviews, you earn points, which can be redeemed for special items.

First Look

Each box comes with a fold out information card. Each of the products is explained, and there is information about the subscription.

Eyeko Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner in Carbon Black $22.00 I just received the Skinny Eyeko liquid liner back in October, so I was surprised to see another Eyeko liner in my box so soon. This one is supposed to be their blackest one yet, while also being waterproof, long-wearing and fadeproof. This has a brush tip, which is a bit of a difference from my felt tip Eyeko.

Vasanti Cosmetics Matte Crush Lipstick Pencil in It's Your Berry First Kiss $23.00 I don't wear many lip pencils, but this one is really nice. I love the berry color and it looks great with some simple gloss. It also comes with a pencil sharpener.

Violet Voss Fun Sized Eyeshadow Palette – HG $18.00 Since I have Boxyluxe, I have the full-size version of this palette. I do like the full-size version, but since it's a big palette, it's hard to travel with it. This palette has a nice selection of colors and I am going to save it for when I go camping or out of town.

Murad Multi-Vitamin Infusion Oil $72.00 This skin oil has six different vitamins that help target signs of aging, boost hydration, brighten skin, and defend from free radicals. I received the expensive face serum last month, but this one sounds nice too. I like trying expensive face products that I don't have to pay for.

Hey Honey Good Morning Honey Silk Facial Serum $45.00 This facial serum moisturizes your skin and acts like a primer at the same time. It's made for all skin types too!

Hanalei Sugar Lip Scrub $25.00 I don't get many sugar scrubs in boxes, so I was happy to get this one. It's made with Maui sugar crystals and pure kukui nut oil to soothe and moisturizes lips. Now that it's cold outside, this will really come in handy.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $205.00. I wasn't sure I liked this box when I first saw spoilers in my account, but it turned out to be a nice box.
