First Look
The theme for August is “Packed Up”.
The information card includes, what's inside, places to visit and where the team is planning to go next. The back of the card has the Nomadik challenge, which is a new adventure to do each month.
Granger's 2oz Single Clothing Wash + Repel $3.50 You can wash non-waterproof items in this solution to make them waterproof. This is designed especially for Patagonia, Burton, Gore-Tex, The North Face and Arc'teryx. In addition to camping gear, this will be great for my children's windbreakers.
Gobi Gear SegSac 15L $39.99 This is the big-ticket item in the box. This is a compression sack that has three different compartments. You can keep clean and dirty clothes separately. The pack also has a lid to keep everything enclosed.
Everything folds up in a little pack.
This is a look inside the pack. The lid is snapped to straps, so you won't lose it.
Gear Aid Elastic Shockcord – 7ft $6.91 You can use this 7ft cord to tighten tarps, replace a tent pole or attach gear to your pack. It's no secret we camp in a camper, but we still use cords and things to tie down gear.
Granger's Gear Cleaner 9.3oz $9.00 This is great for cleaning items that you can't throw in the washing machine. This is really great for shoes and outdoor gear. I hate cleaning shoes, so I am going to see if this will make it easier to clean kid shoes.
DripDrop Dehydration Relief The box contained a sample of their lemon and berry flavors. You just drop these in a bottle of water to add electrolytes and hydration.
