The box shipped in a large brown box. I thought there might be an extra item in the box that didn't fit in the regular box, but there wasn't.

Self-Destructing Science: Space Paperback by Isabel Thomas $9.99 I thought this was one of those “wreck your journal” type books, but it's a fun activity book about space. The great thing about this book is you only need simple ingredients for the projects in the box. Each page has something new to tear, fold, cut, experiment, or scribble.

I think my son will have fun with this book.

50 Things You Should Know About American Presidents by Tracey Kelly $10.99 I must admit, I have been reading this book myself. It's contains with colorful pages for every president through President Obama. There is also two page spreads about important points in history. My son has to give a presentation on an important person this year, and this book could help narrow down these choices.

This is a look in the book.

Where Is Stonehenge? by True Kelley $5.45 My son has to read so many AR books this year, and this one qualifies. This book discusses the history of Stonehenge, different theories of its origin, and how it was believed to be built. My son loves factual books, so I am sure this will be something he reads.

Listomania Hardcover by Simms Taback $12.99 This may be our favorite book in the box. The book is filled with various kinds of lists to make, like favorite foods, toys, candy and more. Not only is this fun, but it's a great way to preserve your child's favorites at a specific age.

I am curious what my son would list.

Six Kids and a Stuffed Cat by Gary Paulsen $10.00 The takes place in a school where there are routine threats of bad storms. During one of the warnings, six kids are trapped in a bathroom together. The book is funny and all about friendships.

National Geographic Kids Chapters: Animal Superstars: And More True Stories of Amazing Animal Talents by Aline Alexander Newman $5.99 Animals can do amazing things and this book is filled with various stories of amazing animals. A dog that rides a motorcycle, a famous groundhog and more are in this book.

This is a list of stories in the book.

Each box comes with a bookmark, a pencil, and some mini erasers. Also, if you review your box on Cratejoy, they will send you a free gift in your next box.

Final Thought: The total value of the box was $55.41, which is well over the cost of the box and that is using Amazon prices. My son's favorite book was the book about the presidents. This is a great educational box of kids and I love there are so many books in the box. If you want to subscribe, use the coupon LEARN to save 10% on your subscription.
