First Look

The theme for January is “Kenny's Olympic Adventure”.

When you open the information guide, there is a table of contents and a letter from the owner of the box.

The story for January was “Kenny's Olympic Adventure”.  Kenny is an 8 year old boy who loves the sport curling. His class had a contest to see who could pin the tail on the donkey, and the winner would get Olympic tickets. Kenny ended up winning and went to the Olympics. The story continues with Kenny's adventures.

There are games in the back of the book.

There was a Booster Bricks sticker in the box.

Blindfold Build challenge First first challenge is to put on a blindfold and build a donkey, like the donkey for the game. You could only use the blue back full of bricks for the contest.

My husband did this challenge because my kids don't like to be blindfolded.  It took quite awhile and I think he did a great job.

Minifigure Champion Using the minifigure and other pieces, we had to create Kenny's hero Olympian.

My 8 year old created this guy.

Premier Challenge Pack To go along with the figure, you can use this pieces to make the arena for the curling tournament.

You can use a tiny LEGO to play curling with your minifigure.

Microbuild Challenge Pack Using these pieces, you create podium for your minifigure. The pieces in this pack was really small, so I thought it was going to be a challenging build.

This is the finished platform. My son said you stand on the white piece and then the light next to it lights up.

Spotlight Piece of the Month Using this little piece, you have to create the flag of your winner's country. You can use up to 15 of your own pieces to create the flag.

My son used his large baseplate as one of his pieces. I love watching him be creative and build.

Final Thought: This is always a fun box to do with the family. I love that it encourages kids to be creative and build things using unusual assortments of pieces. Each box contains a good assortment of bricks, so you child can add them to their collection. You can check Booster Bricks at this link.
