Bookroo is a new book subscription box just for kids! There are two different subscriptions: board books and picture books. Both subscriptions are $17.99 month to month. The board book subscription sends 3 board books for 0-3 year olds, while the picture book subscription sends 2 books for 2-6 year olds. If you have more than one child, let them know and they will alternate the boxes month to month, so you can get books for each child.

Each book is individually wrapped, so they make great gifts.

The Spelling Bee Before Recess Hardcover by Deborah Lee Rose $15.95 Retail, $7.01 Amazon. Three students are competing in a school spelling bee, Cornelius the Genius, Smart Ruby, and The Slugger. It gets to be 1 minute until recess and there is still no winner. The contest is finally finished with one hard word. This is a super cute book. I remember spelling bees as a child, but so far, my oldest has never had one. This story was fun to read and the leasson from this story can be applied to a number of different settings.

Papillon The Very Fluffy Kitty by A. N. Kang $16.99 Retail, $10.33 Amazon. Papillon is a fluffy kitty that tends to float away. He lives with Miss Tilly, who kept trying to keep Papillon from floating away. Miss Tilly finally found out that clothes made Papillon from floating away. One day, Papillon decided not to wear clothes, which results on a big adventure for Papillon.

There was book overview, and two coupons in the box.

Final Thought: This box had a decent value, right at cost based on Amazon, or over $30 retail. My 8 year old enjoyed reading both books to my 5 year old. I thought Papillon was the most unusual book of the box. This was a fun subscription! Use the coupon TY8X34 to save $10.00 off your first box.
