Everything ships in a TokyoTreat box.

First Look

The box came with a colorful booklet filled with details about all the snacks inside. Each snack has a description and allergy information.

These cookies are made with flaky layers of pie dough and covered with sugar. They remind me of the sugar-coated pie pieces my mom made me, every time she made a pie.

Crispy Seaweed Bites

These crunchy snacks are deep-fried and coated in sesame oil.

Harusame Full Moon Egg Soup

I like getting food I can use for meals in my snack box. This soup contains umami-packed broth, fluffy egg, imitation crab, and spring onions. You need to add hot water.

Choco Dream Star Bites

These star treats are one of my favorite treats in the box. They are star-shaped and taste like those chocolate waffle cookies you might have eaten in your childhood.

Honey Butter Puffs

These puff treats have a hole in the center. They are a crunchy snack with a sweet taste.

Sweet Potato Wafer Rolls

These wafer snacks are filled with a sweet potato cream and a bit of brown sugar. The sweet potato cream tastes just like sweet potatoes.

Mini Matcha Baumkuchen

This is a mini matcha cake that is packed with flavor. I like the wrapped shape of the cake.

Seaweed Salt Potato Chips

These are light and thin chips that are sprinkled with seaweed. These are fantastic, and I love the flavor.

Fall Fruits Jelly

These are all grape-flavored and are little cups of jelly that taste like grape Jello. I love the candy grape flavor in Japan, but it's better than the grape flavor in the United States.

Moontastic Pudding Mochi

These little treats are soft and chewy mochi that are filled with a creamy pudding custard.

Fall Butter Biscuit

The package contains four thin crackers with a buttery flavor.

Carrot Crunch Rice Puffs

This carrot package is filled with tiny rice pieces. The snack is crunch with a sweet flavor, similar to the taste of the cereal Sugar Smacks.

Mont Blanc KitKats

Each month, you get a new flavor of KitKat. These are white chocolate with a sweet chestnut flavor and the crispy wafters. These do contain rum (alcohol). I am always amazed by the large variety of KitKat flavors in Japan. These were so fun to try.

Final Thought: This was a fantastic box, and I loved it even more than my last box. My favorite items were the potato chips, the jelly cups, the chocolate stars, and the rice puffs. There were so many yummy treats in the box. Tokyo Treat is a great box to try, and you get several snacks for the price. If you want to try TokyoTreat, sign up on the website to get $5 off.
