First Look

Stickers

There was a sheet of stickers in the box, but my photo didn't turn out well, and I didn't realize it until I used them. There are round stickers to go on the top of the essential oils (see below), and there are stickers to put on the recipes you do.

These are some of the stickers on the essential oils.

Essential Oils

Cardamom

Cardamom is beneficial for promoting emotional balance and cleansing. It's safe for kids 10 and up, safe for dogs and cats, but not safe for pregnancy.

Beauty Within

Beauty Within promotes youthful skin and rejuvenation. This essential oil is safe for children 10 and older, but not recommended for cats, dogs, or pregnant individuals.

Cederwood (Himalayan)

Cedarwood soothes and cleanses skin. It's safe for kids two and up, pregnancy, dogs, and cats.

Grapefruit

Grapefruit cleanses the skin and promotes youthful skin. It's safe for kids two and up, pregnant women, and dogs, but not cats.

Extras

DIY Mineral Makeup Base: This customizable makeup base allows you to create your own personalized makeup.

Red Iron Oxide: This is a brick red, natural colorant.

Cosmetic Tins: A note was included in the box stating that there is a metal tin and a cardboard tube inside.

Fuchsia Mica Powder: This is a bright fuchsia-toned pigment.

Recipes

There were several recipes this month: Inner Glow Diffuser Blend, Forest Guardian Roll-On, Morning Burst Diffuser Blend, Wineberry Glow Balm, Grapefruit Beauty Balm, Beauty Within Solid Serum, and Wild Berry Kiss Lip Paint.

Inner Glow Diffuser Blend

This diffuser blend is made with Beauty Within, Grapefruit, Cardamom, and Cedarwood essential oils. You can diffuse some in your diffuser and create a 5 mL bottle of the essential oil blend. I made the bonus recipe in the box. There wasn't a sticker for this recipe, but it smells great.

Forest Guardian Roll-On

This roll-on is a combination of Beauty Within, Cardamom, Cedarwood, and Fractionated Coconut Oil.

Wild Berry Kiss Lip Paint

This recipe makes a beautiful lip paint. I was going to use the cardboard tube, but decided to use the metal tin instead.

I used a cupcake liner to mix the lip product. You add the almond oil and the essential oils, cedarwood and grapefruit.

Once mixed, you add the mineral makeup powder and the colored pigment.

You mix everything, then pour it into the tin.

Final Thought: I loved that this month's box included recipes for a clean house. I always look forward to making new recipes each month. Subscribe and use the code BOXMOMFREE to get a $45 gift card with your first subscription and a bonus box. You can use the gift card on your next purchase or box.
